Great photos Sarah - glad you all had a good reunion. :)

Good Morning cruisers :)

Hopefully we should hear something on Friday as the CM is still dealing with August Functions.

Fingers crossed :wizard:

Are we too late to join in? If not when is it? (don't want to clash appointments !) and how much is it? Is this the info you are waiting for?
Cheers!

You guys are certainly memorable:rotfl: I will NEVER forget either one of you!

Good night, all!

We're also in Renaissance - Graeme and Margaret Henry, like Henry 8th but one lovely wife not six and yes I am portly! :cool1:

Thought I would post some photos from our WBTA 2010 reunion:

We had a great weekend .... it was wonderful to see everyone again :goodvibes

Glad you had a great time Sarah, lovely to see some familar faces :woohoo:

Has Warren acquired a beard in the last year :confused3 :)

Is anyone else starting to freak out that it is so close to the cruise?? I came in to work yesterday thinking I was being smart and getting ahead of things asking for files for me to audit in case the auditor shows up unexpectedly. He seems to know my vacation schedule and always shows up right before or while I am on vacation:confused3. Well the lady in accounting came to me yesterday afternoon and said the auditor is expected to show up any day now!:scared1::scared1: Now lots of work on top of all the other things I need to get straightened up and get people trained on before I leave.:laundy:

Haven't done any packing except for the travel size toiletry items mostly since I am wearing a lot of the clothes until the cruise. And I am helping that author get some advertising going for his book (facebook page, twitter, etc.) Trying to help him get a few copies sold. (C.B. Nash Novels on facebook if you want to like his page) A baby shower to get ready for this weekend, haircuts, mani/pedis, suprise anniversary gifts for hubby that I have to figure out how to hide from him until the 20th, brother's birthday, family coming into town next weekend.....:faint:

Our last name is Sheaves - you know like the old Babtist hymn 'Bringing in the sheaves' ask for us. Jean

You are toooo funny Jean Since I was raised in Arkansas, a Southern Baptist, I know the song well. My last name is Wingo rhymes with Bingo. So we should be able to find each other.

Evelyn

Well, looks like we have, Kings, hymns and bingo covered at the Renaissance, now who can top that? party::disrocks:

:worship::worship: Sounds like we may have a date for the champagne girls and mixology tasting soon that’s great, thanks for all the hard work Claire and michelle

I have certainly enjoyd the inlaw stories :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Altough yesterday was meant to be a packing day.... yet again other things got in the way, and now I'm just going out with DD to help her complete her paper round but lol I'll just content myself with the fact that the exercise is good for me !! and maybe I can be more focused when I come back, but then I suppose it will be one more driving lesson for DS, he's got his test tomorrow and yesterday didn't go that well he pulled out on another car at a roundabout :scared1::scared1::scared1: and I saw my life flash before my eyes !!!......... just a day in the life :rotfl2::rotfl2: so can't wait to go away now :rotfl2:

Doesn’t life just have a way of doing that to you, just when you begin to think I've got this all sorted. Perhaps you tempted fate a little at work or maybe someone higher up is thinking why am I not going on a disney cruise.

Still lots of other things going on , so sending you pixe dust :wizard::wizard::wizard:

WE are all so close now one last push... nothing is allowed to get in the way now, so am sure you will get it all sorted, and even have fun along the way

Sarah, the reunion pics were so nice to see, and a promise of the camaraderie we 2011 WBTA folks can surely expect. What a lot of smiles, and I loved the pic of the lovely palm-decorated FAB!! yum!

Squitty, thanks for all you've done for mixology and mojito. I got very excited seeing your update. I don't believe there is anything more relaxing than 4--6 drinks lined up under one's nose. Actually, I'm not much of a drinker (glass of wine here and there) but I love to taste and try new things!

Am indeed starting to "freak out" as new brushfires at work are springing up at the worst possible time. Ah well, once I'm on the ship they can't even reach me to fire me :)

With all this talk of packing .... I decided to start at lunchtime.

I've got my prioritories right, the champagne, baileys and cassis are in the case :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Saw this on the Disney Food Blog this morning, I thought some of you might enjoy it too. The article goes backstage for the dining on the Magic:

Does anyone else's dog get really upset when the suitcases come out? That's one reason we wait until the week before to pack.

I'm mostly a last minute packer. I don't have enough of most stuff to pack plus use. So all my clothes and stuff have to wait for the last minute. I am starting to figure out what I'm bringing a how I'm going to pack it but no real packing for me yet. However, I can start to pack my Secret Mickey, FE, scrapbook and candy exchange stuff which will all go in my carry on. I find that packing (especially clothes) doesn't seem to take too long so I probably won't pack until just before we leave.

Yeah, I see your point there. We could pack some things now too....but I don't think we will!!!!!!:rotfl:

Good girl!!! :thumbsup2

He had more like designer stubble than a full beard .... and much longer hair ... very dashing !!

I am so pleased you have your priorities sorted Mary :thumbsup2

We have noticed the same thing with our two dogs. They get very upset when they see the suitcases come out. They know something bad is about to happen. So we now put the suitcases in the upstairs bedroom...with the door closed...so they don't expect anything...though we will probably start doing some packing this weekend.

I tried to resist chiming in with another MIL story, but my will power is weak.

At my wedding reception, during the photographer shoot, the bride and groom posed with everyone. Attendants, whole family, bride's family, groom's family. When we were getting together with the groom's family, my brand-new MIL pushed me aside and said, "This is just for family." Let's just say, it was the start of a long, strained relationship. The only reason my marriage survived was that we moved 600 miles away soon after.

My advice: To all the DIL's and MIL's--just love those guys who brought you together--and limit the time you spend together.

You win! Hands down. Too bad we hadn't decided earlier to give out a prize. :rotfl:

Wow !! Finished the FE's tonight. DH used the trusty Sharpie pen to label and we had a fun time deciding who got what. Fun because we can't wait to meet the personalities behind the names :)

Now to get everything ELSE done. . .
Yay for getting FE's done. I actually went out yesterday to pick up some things for us and found some awesome FE gifts I had to pick up.

Coconut palm leaves I believe ... very pretty, except they kept sticking up my nose when trying to sip elegantly from the straw. :rotfl2:
That's not something you would want in your drink after you've had 5 or 6 of those... might become very dangerous :rotfl2:
