Really sorry to the people I'm supposed to be meeting with tonight, but I can't make the meet up, chances are I'll be spending a couple of hours at work and then leavin to drive up to glasgow

Just got a call from gary and unfortunately his dad lost his battle against cancer last night. I need to go into work as I need to find out what time I can get off and how long, then I'll be drivin up to glasgow tonight.
Really sorry to all the Kent meet-up people, I was really looking forward to meeting you all

Dear Karen and Gary ..... so sorry to hear the sad news about Gary's Dad .... thinking of you and sending Take care on your drive up there. I lost my Dad to cancer just 3 years ago and it was the most heartbreaking experience of my life. Keep strong and take care xxxx

I've added CruisingSwedes (Jenny and her 4-yr-old DD) to Group Tortola, and sent an email to everyone via the Google group to let them know. Now, if this causes a problem for anyone in that group, for any reason, please email or PM me and let me know. I have a way to take care of it for you, and believe me, I understand completely if one more gift is a problem. (Josh and Karen, you are most definitely NOT party-poopers!! I'm the one who can't follow my own rules. )

I'll put them on my list too (I don't think Tortola is one of mine), my fe gifts are flat and light, and I just keep cranking out more of them as I have time. Probably have enough for the whole dang ship by the time comes to fly

Sarah, question about Hard Rock. Are these hard reservations - that is, if we don't get back in time to attend, will we owe something to someone? We're on our way out to MontSerrat on Friday.

I hope the folks at your workplace were kind about giving you the necessary time off.

It is never easy to lose a parent--doesn't matter if we know it's an end to suffering or if it is an unexpected event. I think it is extra difficult to lose an in-law. Beside your own grief, you want to do whatever you can to ease the pain of your partner.

I am so sorry for both you and Gary. Try to remember happier days,
