I made this one for our last cruise, but we had a very small FE group, and I'm hoping it will still work. The pocket is 7"W x 6"D will it be ok do you think? We never got anything too bulky as a gift, and with the crazy baggage allowance that most people will choose something fairly small .. am I right?

Well we have finished our FE after tweaking many times.

Good Morning All! I am official now, and did my on board check in last night! So glad to be rooming with Evelyn! (fly4free2). I love meeting new folks! I'm still on the fence about flights. I would love to go up to Finland first perhaps. I have family there. Found some really inexpensive airfare from Helsinki to Barcelona on Air Baltic ($126 one way) with a stopover in Latvia. Does anyone know anything about that airlines? I once flew Aeroflot (USSR) in 1986 between Moscow and Simvatapol and it looked like lawn chairs for seats! No seriously, those seats could easily be removed, maybe to make them military aircraft?
Also, is anyone doing any private touring in Gibraltar other than the monkeys, caves, and seige tunnels? They are definitely not to be missed but I have already visited them twice. Great shopping in Gibraltar too and tax free!I think I'm going to invest in a better pair of binoculars. You get to see so much ship action thru the straits. I sailed from Tenerife to Morocco on my big 3-0 and saw tons of gray ships during the start up of Desert Shield. My dad was a merchant marine and sailed these waters from the US to the Med for over 50 years and crossing the Atlantic on a ship like he did so many times has a very special meaning for me as this will be my first time!
A hearty felt "get well soon" to anyone under the weather, recovering from surgery, undergoing testing. This cruise sounds like the ultimate R&R (relax and recover).![]()
What a beautiful girl! When I told DD that your DD was working for the summer in WDW she started thinking ahead 10 years or so to when she is in college.![]()
Thank you. She has wanted to do it ever since she first went to WDW and saw the students working there on the college programme. Her real dream is to be a dancer in the parade or a UK character like Alice in Wonderland. She may yet apply for the year long CRP because if she gets accepted onto that then she can audition for performance roles and face characters if she is the appropriate height.
I don't know if it would be an advantage or not, but she knows 2 languages fluently and 2 others not as fluently - at least yet - and if we continue to live here in Ukraine she will know 4 languages fluently plus possibly some French. (The four languages are English, of course, and Russian fluently, Tatar, which is very close to Turkish, and Ukrainian, not as fluently.)
Anyway, we are hoping that the extra hard work she's put into this part of her life will be a benefit to her forever.
Hey all!
A friend of mine told me about this forum when I told her that we just booked this cruise as our first disney cruise!
We're going without the kids (me and my wife, both 37) - my wife is the Disney nut of the family, so as we talked about doing a trans-atlantic cruise, and I came across this one, she told me to just stop looking and book it, so I did.
It will be our third cruise, but first trans-atlantic and first on Disney. We booked a guaranteed verandah for this cruise, and are spending 2 nights in Barcelona before the cruise.
Look forward to reading through the massive amount of posts about this cruise and get to know other Disney fans!
We love the California GrillI booked Cali Grill for Stevie's 40th and we saw the fireworks from our table, I would recommend it for a special occasion. It reminds me of Palo, mind you I think Palo was modelled on it

That would be soooo fun! I would have loved to do that at her age. My DD is so outgoing and if she doesn't change too much in her adolescent years, I could see her trying out for something like that too. I don't know if it would be an advantage or not, but she knows 2 languages fluently and 2 others not as fluently - at least yet - and if we continue to live here in Ukraine she will know 4 languages fluently plus possibly some French. We are Heather and Erik, and we live in Minnesota. Our kids are 15,13 and 10, but won't be joining us for this trip. They will however join us in Disney World in December when we stay at the Bay Lake Tower for the first time, we just became DVC members last year after a stay at Saratoga springs using an RCI exchange.
Thank you all for the warm welcome. I've put my wife in charge of making an account here to get to know you all as well, since she is the official Mickey nut, I'm just the adopted one.
We are looking forward to getting to know all of you and meeting up on the cruise! It was kind of a last minute thing for us to book this, we just came across it as an option about 3 weeks ago and decided to book it.
Now I just hope I can find a low milage Delta award in business class to Barcelona, we're currently booked in Economy using my miles, but would love to make it Business class instead.
We'll be staying at Le Meridian in Barcelona for 2 nights, it will be our first time there - I've been to southern spain before, but never Barcelona, its Heather's first trip to Spain.
Thanks for all the great information so far, the summary post with it all in one place was great!
Erik

I went to Cheese Cake Factory this week for dinner with a few coworkers and they had chicken with Madeira wine sauce... i had to order it. And it was delicious.
