Finally caught up.

To Karen and all those unwell, hope you are better soon, just keep thinking about Morrisons and all those bars of chocolate and of course the drinks making their way to the Magic.:sick::sick:

Happy Independence Day to all US DISers.

Love the pictures of the pups, not having kids, my two pups (Koda and Casper) are spoilt rotten, if I am not at home they go next door to Mum's. While we are away, my brother is going to look after them during the day and David gets them back when he comes home from work.

Have set up skype so that we use a camera hooked up to the (family room) plasma TV so that when I call I get to see them.:happytv: Just setting up my new IPad so that I can take that with me on the cruise.

Cannot believe it is less then 2 months before we leave on holiday, we are having a stopover in Singapore for 9 days before the cruise, so it means I need to sort out my clothes and shoes soon. Remembering last year's WBTA, I took far too much, so going to halve the amount. Mind you the stop over in Singapore might see a few new pairs of shoes being bought and maybe a dress or two!!!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Still working on the excursions, Gibraltar and Tortola are the only ones I need to arrange, everything else is sorted, Dad only wants to see the tunnels in Gibraltar, he is not bothered about anything else; so might just try and hire a taxi when we get into port.

From what I hear, the taxis are not too keen on just going to a destination. They prefer doing the tour.

Happy 4th of July to all our US DISers

Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Wishing all the "sickies" speedy recoveries! Miserable to feel unwell - I'm SO sorry for you.

Happy 4th everyone! We attended a lovely cookout party yesterday and another one (postponed from yesterday) is on tap for today - plus we will be having another friend over for a late supper today.

MomE is back from her week in London and says no WAY is she doing this trip with 1-44 pound suitcase!

So, how big is a 'european carry on' anyway? And How do you measure the suitcase / carry on you're allowed? I've only flown Southwest for the last decade so this obsessing over luggage size is new to me.

Happy Day, all!

Just wanted to say HELLO to everyone.

Sorry I have been worse than last year about posting and trying to keep up on this thread.

We are still cruising with you all and I am looking forward to meeting up with all my friends from last year and making new ones.

The Countdown is looking good now :cool1:

Hi Linda

It would depend on who you are flying with :)

Usually they have their allowances/measurements on their websites.

I am trying to do the same thing because we had the same problem last year. Now mind, we did take the EBTA and the weather was spotty and then were heading to Germany where the week before we arrived it was snowing. Two of my friends that are coming with are the ultimate packers (I guess it comes with being a flight attendant) they were able to do the Med cruise last year with a carryon and personal item each!:scared1: As I said before I have OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Planning Disorder) so I always overpack. I like to be overprepared the underprepared.

I cannot wrap my brain around this.

To karentan--I pray you feel better soon and the medical professionals can get to the bottom of this!

To Liz-- trip reports are wonderful, and so is seeing the magic of Disney through different perspectives (AP vs destination vacay). Whenever someone describes their trip, I get to picture treasured sights and sounds but also "see" through their unique eyes, and that's just more "magic"!

I love trip reports too - and I love dining reviews probably even more. Its the next best thing to being there. :goodvibes

Hi Burnice, stopping in Singapore sounds just lovely! What a nice way to ease into your vacation. I want to visit Singapore someday :cloud9:

Karen - I hope you feel better soon! No fun being under teh weather. :sad2:

Burnice - glad you got all caught up. :)

I've been lurking, but crazy busy. Three volunteer events in one week, holiday weekend, and hubby working 8 days straight. I'm just thankful I have had only one call for emergency tutoring over the holiday weekend. :rotfl2:

I checked the bus routes in Gibraltar and it looks like we can get to all the places we want to go by using the buses. Well, except the top of the rock, but we'll take the cable car for that. Don't know if that would work for you and your dad, Burnice, but I thought I'd put it out there.

Okay, that's just unnatural. :sad2:

Hi! I'm Sandy and I will be sailing the WBTA. No cabin number yet. Sailed last year with my husband, but he has to work this year, so I'm sailing solo. We are sailing the Dream 9/4-8. I'll stay 1 night at WDW--then fly to Barcelona on 9th. Guess you could call it back to back!!!!

Can't wait to meet everyone.
