Hi All! I haven't booked just yet, but any day now...
I'm very excited to see that everyone seems so nice, as this will be my first Disney cruise and my first transatlantic, and I'll be sailing solo.

I would've loved my DH to wear a kilt, but our luggage allowance wouldn't have allowed it.

Tortola Excursion Update!!

I emailed Tortola Charters our updated count and that we have a waiting list... and this is their reply:

Hi Mandy,

Thanks for all of the help - we will have an additional boat doing the
trip - but right now I'm not sure which one and it's capacity - soon as I
know something firm I'll let you know -

So I will keep you guys posted as well. I know the boat we have for just DIS members is a "charter" that they are doing for a slight discount (see front page of this thread). Will keep everyone posted, and I'll keep the standby list going as well on the front page.

Yep! You/Grumpy are the two I have for reserve, so I would say plan on it since there is a second boat. There is the possibility the one we are on with a capacity of 50 could be larger if they get the new boat.

We are Mary and DH Stevie from Scotland too travelling solo on the WBTA without DD this time.

I think we may have spoken with you already, we were on the Dover to Barcelona last Summer too, we were chatting to a few Scottish couples and I have just asked my DD Rachel (16) and she said that she hung around with a Nicole from Scotland who was the same age as her. I am assuming it's the same person

She's miffed now that she said she wasn't coming with us now that one of her old muckers is booked on the WBTA

Do we have enough Scots on board now to have a Tartan Army?

Linda, it is very worth going on a tour. Lots to see and some good view points too. I'm so pleased we had a good look around the place. Not sure the shopping is that fantastic, though good for toiletries and booze at Morrisons!!!
