*Just seeing this. I just sent you a PM asking if you had sent out the email. Guess I should have read the posts before bugging you. We're very excited to do this and of course to the cruise all together. We did the Disney Dream last September and we're hooked already on Disney cruises.

Oh no my girl is the only girl her age group Oh well - she is good at meeting new friends anyway.

Is/has anyone made their own FE ?

We have made our own FE for everybody

we have split it into Couples will get 1 personalised FE gift, extra family members eg, sisters, grandmas will get also get 1 each.

All girls are getting personalised hadmade gifts as are all boys aged 12-17

the youngers boys are getting a gift each then we have 3 babies, these gifts have been bought as i found it so hard to decide what to make for them.

Is/has anyone made their own FE ?

We are making ours. We had a couple brain storming sessions and have a plan. This weekend we are heading to Amish country to find fabrics for it. My DH is very creative and my mother is a quilter who sews constantly. I can sew but I don't enjoy it like my mom. I have a vision of the end product but getting there will test my patience for sure.

Wow, lots has been going on since I checked yesterday.

I have a question, can we get an updated sheet if anything has changed so I don't miss anyone maybe by next week or even this weekend sometime? I've ordered my supplies to make the family gift for each cabin (I bought extra's though) and want to make sure that I make the right amount.

Does anyone have any allergies? Just want to make sure incase I give any type of food/candy item.

No allergies here. I am attempting to make my own FE and a lot of the gifts. It is so much fun planning. I love to give gifts, and if I was rich I would do it everyday. Lol

An ok so mine are 6 and 3mos at what age do they grow out of being kids lol I'm just trying to get a gage on what kinda gifts to get lol Like me I am still a kid at heart lol

Only allergy would be for Lauren... She does not handle tree nuts very well. She can have normal peanuts, peanut butter etc. just no walnuts pecans etc. thank you for asking...

August 25th FE tab, I accidentally clicked on it .. If you look at the 1st post it gives some good info.....


Anyway, Will a final list come out and if so what date are we looking at? I know some people cancel cruises all of the time. I just don't want to bring any unecessary gifts... also, silly question....... I am putting my gifts together and was wondering about how big everyone's pockets are going to be? I hope my items fit in the pockets/pouches.... I plan on just doing gifts once (all items in bag at one time)... Thanks. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and has power now! ( if for some strange reason they don't fit how do we angle that?)

From what I have read, I believe most pockets are around 8 inches wide, give an inch or two either way. As to height, I cannot help you there.

From reading on this board, I believe some people with oversized objects put them in a bag of some sort and hang it from the same fish from which the fish extender hangs. For instance, I saw a picture of somebody who used a canvas bag with straps to hold their gifts and they just hung the canvas bag from the fish.

Here is a previous post with some answers to those questions:

I will update the list with cabin changes and GTY assignments up until Aug. 28th, before we leave. If anything changes between the 29th & when we board, I would:
1. post on here, so people can see and update their list
2. you can reply to all on the email list and let them know
3. send a text msg from your wave phone once on board
4. put a sticky note on above your old cabin number with your new number.

Just my suggestions....

I will update the list with any cancelations, changes, cabin assginments up until the 28th, before we leave. If anything changes after that, the person with the change can do any of the above to notify people.

If a gift doesn't fit in the pouch, most people leave it in a bag on the door handle or from the fish (or other item...I think they are starhorses on the Dream and Fantasy) where the extender is hung from.
