I would prefer that everyone deliver their gifts when they want to. I don't want to be tied down to an exact day incase something comes up or we want to do something else.

I honestly have never heard of scheduling days until reading the 8/25 thread. When we did the FE last year, we were on a 4 night sailing and everyone did it as they pleased. I personally did it the first day to get it our of our cabin!!! Others did it on pirate night bc their gifts were pirate themed...some the night before Castaway Cay bc their gifts were beach themed.

Without a schedule it worked out well. We always came back to our room to a surprise!! JMHO....

We have 26 Cabins with 25 Families I think its around 90 people in total
Please PM- Hardingk (Kimberly) with any update,cabin assignment change ect... until noon Aug.28th
The final list will be sent out the evening of 8/28 and if there are any changes after then ,you can do any of the following to let everyone no their change:

1. post on here,so people can see and update their list
2. you can reply to all on email list and let them know
3. send a text msg from your wave phone once on ship
4. sticky note on or above your old cabin number with new one
* A deck plan with highlighted cabins participating will be sent out with final list on 8/28 Thank you

My sister noticed that I spelled her daughters (my niece's) name wrong. It would be Lily but her full name is Lilyana. Just in case anyone is making her something personalized.

I have a question for the people with two rooms. Are both rooms each doing the exchange or are the rooms combining to do one exchange? What I mean is are the adults in each room do separate gifts to exchange or are you guys combining together to do your gifts? Just wondering for when I do stateroom gifts, how this is all get broken down. Thanxs

My sister (Erika) and I (Heather) are each doing our own gifts. Please treat our rooms separately, as we are two separate families. Does that make sense? Thank you for asking.

Ok, I have a question for the men in the group. I can't help but feel like the men are being left out in my family gift idea. I'm making a family gift and then making/buying something for all the kids under 18.

So....what would the guys like to see or am I just over thinking this and they will be happy with the family gift as well?

From my experience, it's the women who are going on the dis boards, joining the groups, planning, making, buying the gifts, and then distributing them. So no I don't think the guys will feel left out, you get what you give lol. Now this is not for all guys (just basing it on my own experience) lol A few husbands may be totally in the dark about the whole exchange and wonder who's leaving stuff outside their door every night.
