So I made our reservation for Akershus for September today. we have a party of 7 and the lady said that we would have to be seated seperately but they would try to keep us as close together as possible. BLAH my MIL is not going to be happy with that news lol but she'll have to get over it.

so I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with being seated seperately.

Did you at least get to be close together? or were you on opposite sides of the restaurant? were you happy or disappointed or didn't care either way?

I understand we have a large party but it does stink that we will have to sit seperately especially since we are celebrating my daughters birthday that day at the lunch.

I received this message several times, I want to know who they will be seating my kids with :) no-one will have them... really ;)
I also posted and some people said they got the message with parties as small as 1, and wanted to know what parts they were seating elsewhere :)
so I didnt worry about it :)

. . . fortunately, people do
. . . it is only one meal

. . . yes
. . . when we got separated, we had eight in the group
. . . but, I have seen groups of six separated
. . . at CRT, I saw a group of five separated

Did you at least get to be close together?
. . . the next table over

or were you on opposite sides of the restaurant?
. . . I guess it could happen
. . . but, not generally

were you happy or disappointed or didn't care either way?
. . . call it "a speed bump on the road of life"
. . . just go with the flow

. . . they try to seat you together
. . . but, be ready in case they can't
. . . it all depends upon how busy they are
. . . and what they make-up of the other tables are
