Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

I don't have enough clothes to pack this far in advance!! I will be packing on September 3rd. I guess I'm not bringing as much as everyone else. No costumes or FE things. Just clothes, toiletries, swimsuits, electronics, Magic Bands. Most of that has to wait until it's about time to leave.

My focus now is to finish my classes for this section. Only one more week left, and I already have one final project complete. Then the week after that the kids start school. I need to finish their shopping and organize everything for them. Then I need to get my house clean. This place is a mess!! I hate coming home to a messy house!!

That moment when you go to show off the FE crafts to one of your friends and you see that it all got ruined  TOTAL FAIL!! Had to go back out to Joann's and Michaels to get more of the items and of course they didn't have the original things I picked out so I had to slightly change it. UGH!! I was feeling so accomplished since it was the gifts for the women and the only set that I thought was 100% completed NOPE!!

OK lets try this again, but this take make sure its completely DRY before you assemble and package them up!!

HAPPY HUMP DAY!! CRUISE IS JUST A FEW WEEKS AWAY!!! (wanted to end on a more positive note)
Awww..second time will be better than the 1st time :flower3:

Duh Joe!! I told you I had to work again :( This work thing really stinks!!

So I have this problem I can't figure out. Has nothing to do with Disney, but I can't decide what I want to do with my hair, lol!!! It's pretty long right now. My ponytail from the nape of my neck is about 8". My hair is very thin and fine so it does nothing and is completely flat, so it's always in a ponytail. Debating between getting a wave or chopping it off again (something like Ginnifer Goodwin). I know, pointless mumbling, but I just can't decide. I had totally decided on cutting it, but Terry says he'd rather it be in a ponytail. Ugh! I usually do the opposite of what he likes, but it does make me question myself :(

I know you had to work. I even said to myself I hope she has a good day at work! Ok The hair topic this is from my guy point of view. I think pony tails is the easy way out, but it is going to be hot so maybe pulled off your neck would be a little cooling. I like pony tails for another reason but we won't go there. LOL Ginnifer has had different styles which one are you refereeing too? Are you thinking of coloring too? I've seen her in dark and blonde hair. You have beautiful eyes and a beautiful smile I would look in a hair styling magazine and look for a style that brings those 2 features out in the pictures.

I was debating my hair today too!!! It is thick and naturally curly... Think I will just cut a little length off and go with it... Debated straightening it but that takes FOREVER!!! lol ;)

Every picture I've seen of you your hair is always pulled back. What other styles have you had in the past?

From a girl that loooooves wearing ponytails, I have learned (finally....after many times) that short hair means actually FIXING it every day! I am way to busy to mess with it every day. I like being able to just throw it up in a ponytail or clip and head to work or the store!! I have done short a couple times myself, and I regret it about a week in EVERY TIME.

Oh, noooooooooooo!!! You got this, though......you have already had practice!! Trust me, there is definately a difference between the first adult gifts that I did, and the ones that came later. I definately got better with practice. Remember folks, the imperfections in handmade gifts are part of their charm!

I say PROCRASTINATE!! CAUSE that's how I seem to get anything done lately! I haven't started packing ....well I haven't put things in suit cases yet....I have both the kids clothes, costumes and whatever they need put in a basket I need to physically see it before Im ready to pack it away or else I will forget what I have or have not packed lol

No procrastinating here.....we are almost completely packed!!!!

Awe thanks Joe!! You so sweet :love1:

I totally agree Amber. I actually look really great with a stacked cut, but those are the worst. You always have to style those. With Ginnifer's pixie cut you don't really have to do it. I have had the cut before. I would usually put a little goop in my hand and mess the whole thing up or just swoop it to the side. I think I'll stick with a trim for now and think on the subject more. I just realized yesterday I needed to get hair appointments or we wouldn't have trims before vacation.

As long as I dry my hair right after I wash it, I only have to brush my short hairstyle. Now if I try to sleep on it wet I come up with all kinds of weird concoctions.

I can get the girls' bags almost completely packed. My stuff (except costumes) will have to wait till closer to when we leave.

Oh I haven't started on the clothes, or the day to day stuff. I've got the things like rain gear, clothes pins, and costumes. I'm trying just to check in one bag for our family of 5. Everyone will have their carry on with their own clothes for the 10 day trip. All the "extra" will go in the big one. Once they go back to school I'll do a trial run on theirs to make sure it all fits, luckily they are super small kids = less bulky clothes. The adults is going to be a different matter... we might have to do a second check in but I would rather not.

Think of the first set as a trial run... Procrastinating is when I do my best work to or at least my fastest work. I'm kinda scared to make the last 2 dress, I've been working on the Cinderella for awhile and it just hasn't turned out. So back to the drawing board and hoping I can use some of what I've already done.

I did learn to take the batteries out of the push light BEFORE it gets packed. Whoops, good thing I learned now then before the trip. I wouldn't want to have to find AAA batteries on the ship or pay the Disney price of them.

Thanks for the luck, guys!!! I got the job! :teeth:
Better pay, closer to home, still on day shift, they will work around hubby's schedule (and it is in the same city that he works for!), AND they guarantee I will get my 3 1/2 week vacation that I was getting for Disney.
I am super happy.......it is a brand new hospital that is opening in September. :flower1::flower1:

That is fantastic! Congrats!

Its always pulled back because it is so thick and I get tired of messing with it and chasing after Jase! I will probably only wear it down to dinner ;)

Just placed our lunch order for BOG :D.... And our magic bands shipped... Now to impatiently wait!!!

MAGIC BANDS CAME IN!!! Sorry yes I am being lazy and reading all about more tips for Disney (research is important right?) and not doing anything when there is a hose to clean and things to sew
