Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

Hi my name is Monica and I am a procrastinator!!! I haven't started nada, zip, ZILCH!! I'm on full on stress mode at the moment realizing the cruise is just 5 weeks away! You guys who have everything all organized and done I ENVY YOU!!
Don't worry I've still got lots to do too. I'm not even worried about it. I work best under pressure!

If it makes you feel any better. I just realized that I haven't sent out the invitations for my daughter's birthday party and it is next weekend! Luckily, most of the party goers were invited through "insert social media name here" at the beginning of the month, but there are a few that are not on that site. :scared1: Do you think a week notice is enough? :sad2:
Same. Kelsey's birthday is next weekend too. I've got to get on that! Funny how we've been saying for months that when her birthday came along (er actual birthday is Aug 5th) there would only be a month to go! And here we are, almost! The time is just flying by!

Yep! Ady's is August 3rd. :bday: I am starting to feel like I'm running out of time! lol. Especially since the time that is left is going to be busy. Ady's party is next weekend, I co-advise a 4-H dog club so I have two more workshops before fair, our county fair is August 14th-20th (which I'm more involved with now due to being an advisor), the dog competition is on the 19th which is an all day affair, and then Anna starts 1st grade on the 25th! I don't have a start date for Ady's preschool yet, but I'm crossing my fingers that it isn't until after we get back from the cruise. It shouldn't start till after since it is usually fairly late in September. Somewhere in there I have to get school shopping done and finish the kid's FE gifts! Thank goodness all the adults are done for ours and my mom's FE gifts are all finished (since I was helping her with hers). My head is spinning a little just from writing all of that down! :faint:

I am using private transportation to the port from Animal kingdom. Do you have long bus ride to hotel on Magical express? Does it go to all the different hotels?

The bus ride isn't that long. It does stop at other hotels though. My kids love the bus and the ME videos that play, lol! It's worth it to me to not have to worry about bags or meeting the right person, plus it's FREE! Every little bit helps :)

Look into Uber. I've never used them in Orlando but I have in DC and Atlanta and love the service.

I read over there that Uber is not allowed to pick up at MCO.

Talking about school shopping, I took Carly shopping yesterday. We went to Maurices. This was our first trip to a store with no kids clothes. We were there for over 2 hours. She had a dressing room full of clothes. I was completely exhausted, but she had the time of her life!! I am not sure I can handle the teenager stuff. She's only 11 and I think we are almost there!!!

Plenty of notice. I was so wrapped up in the cruise I did the same thing with my poor little one. Her guest had less than a week notice :-)

I love Maurices!! Fortunately my girls still fit in The Children's Place. They have been having great deals lately! I am so not looking forward to the teenage years with 2 girls.

I hear ya. Kelsey got new clothes recently and she likes to try different outfit variations then do hair and put on some of my makeup just to see how it all looks.

Hi! This is mainly for the people in the munchkin list...please check to see if your names are correctly spelled on page 1. I am personalizing all the women and kids' gifts so please let me know if anyone's names are spelled wrong. I don't want to misspell any names..esp a kiddo. And please forgive me if my gifts don't turn out so well. I'm new to crafting but want to make something for everyone. Thanks!

Anyone else not letting their kiddos go to Scuttle's Cove when we are at CC? I think our line of work has the hubby really protective of the kids when it comes to being watched around water (even when it comes to family members watching). I just know my kids will want to go, but he has told me a firm "NO WAY". :headache:

Question for you veteran cruisers....
Shopping at CC.........Do they transport the stuff you buy to the ship and deliver to your stateroom, or do you have to cart it around at the beach. I know the parks do that when you stay at the resorts, but I would really like to get all the souvenirs for our extended family from CC since the chances are slim they would get it anything like it. It will be a whole mess of presents for sure!

The girls will go to Scuttle's Cove. It would take some significant talent to drown at a splash pad. And it's rubber, so no cement to injure themselves on.

LOL!! I had no clue it was a splash pad/water feature type thing! He and I were both thinking it was a section of the beach where they were supervised by CM's. That should make a difference. :flower3:

Huge difference! It's a completely sectioned off area that does not have the beach or ocean involved. It has a sand feature that they keep moist to make sand castles, I think some kind of dino dig?, and a splash pad.
