Done with Fast Passes! Whew, I hope I did it right! We'll be at DH on 9/5 bummed we'll miss ya' all but we'll see each other soon.

On a crazy note, I decided to try for BOG, I wasn't really planning on it, dinner was super yummy lunch was good but nothing great but hubby's aunt has never been so I thought I should at least try.... So weeks of checking multi times a day we got in for dinner on 9/2, the day we fly in! Great way to start a vacation and wow her.

On a duh note, I was counting out the cabin gifts and looking over all the lists counting how many cabins there was. Then I was looking at the Overachiever and crossing them off so I wouldn't have duplicates. I thought something was wrong as half the people on the Overachiever list weren't on all the lists! I didn't realizing it was everyone, I spent 10 mins thinking I was crazy (which might be a little true)! Almost had double the gifts to pixie dust , I should never try to work on Disney this late at night. Thanks Amber for the Overachiever list showing all the people in the FE group. It does make it nice and easy for us Wannabe Overachievers who can't get our act together.

On a sad note, we decided just to do BC instead of passports but hubbys was out and the dog got to it and ripped a corner off. Everything was closed today for the holiday and I'm super stressed. I ordered a new one online but am going to call on Monday when we can talk to someone. Trying to get a passport was a nightmare, I went to 3 different post offices in 3 different cities (were on vacation in CO) and even though it said they were good to take them when I got to the post office they weren't doing applications that day or had stopped all together but hadn't updated anything yet. My worst fear is they won't accept the BC for some reason. We've only been to Mexico before, used our BC then and it was fine but that was long ago before 9/11 and pre kids. Cross your fingers and say a prayer!

You will be just fine. We are using just BC for the kids. We would be for ourselves too, but we had to get them for our anniversary trip. I feel pretty confident, and I am usually a worst case scenario type with things like that!

Did you know that Disney is one of the worlds biggest consumer for fireworks. They roughly spend 45 million a year just on that. Wow.

Jake and I are putting in our Passport applications on Monday. We just have to go to our courthouse though. Going to a post office to do it sounds like a nightmare! We wanted to apply earlier, but money was tight. Jake pulled in extra overtime so we are doing it now. I'll need mine next year for an Ireland trip, so might as well! If all else fails just go up to that state up north Detroit we had to go there because my wife lost her passport. Only problem we had was you have to have the correct change so we had to find a bank.

For people who have cruised Disney before is pre purchasing the photo package worth it? Pros and cons on the options would be helpful. Trying to decide if it's worth it to get prints, cd, photobook

Sorry I have never bought it in the 3 Disney cruises that I have been on. always just used our camera and or our phone. Then at the end of the cruise if there were money left in our stateroom account we may buy one or two. It does make me sick just to see them throw away the pictures.

Sounds like everyone is getting their FPs done. I haven't been to WDW since Jan 2014. I remember reading that some people were getting 4 FP per day. I think it was a test. Is this still happening? I need to get this stuff ready for the 7th!

we have not done a disney cruise, but we have done others, and we are big picture people. We plan on having our pictures taken every night in our dinner clothes, it is just our thing. For us it is totally worth it (we spent almost $300 on our last 5 day cruise and $120 on our first 3 day cruise for pictures). If there is an opportunity to get our picture taken, my wife will take it!

Yeah. After your first three are used you can go to the kiosk and book another one if I understand correctly. They didn't do that last time so I'm not for sure. It would make more sense to me that you could always have 3 active FP. That way as soon as you use one you could get another.

That is my daughters favorite ride. second is Rocken roller coaster.

Sitting here at work, watching the Fantasy take off on the Port Canaveral webcam..... .I cant wait for that to be US on the Dream!!!!!!
