Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

My cousin lives in the panhandle of Florida with his wife and new baby girl. He said that they may go to WDW when we will be on our cruise and that we may be able to get together for a little while. I'm hoping that we can meet at DTD or if we are in Florida an extra day to see them, we can visit DTD to kill time.
:hourglass

I've been MIA so this is really in response to a couple pages back but we are doing a family gift for everyone, the whole list. I'm torn on the individual gifts for the ones on our smaller list but am waiting as my kids are kinda in the middle so I don't want to do something to young or to old. I'll see who I get and then can really plan. I checked out ages and I'm excited that there will be some girls Emmalee's age. The boys always have boys their ages but Emmalee tends to be the only girl in her age group.

How old is Emmalee?

She's going to be 11 on July 27 she is a younger girl if that makes sense

I have a daughter that is 11 and she is dying to talk to other girls around her age that is going on the cruise. So if daughter wants to chat let me know.

She would love it but doesn't know about the trip yet. We're not telling the kids till the day before we leave. Their Auntie is taking us and she wants to be here when they find out about it. It's killing me not to include them in the plans! I'm sure she will be all over keeping in contact after the trip, she loves her pen pals. Maybe we could introduce them under a different guise?

It's called the Premium Outlets, off Vineland Rd. Orlando. The store is called Character Warehouse. Located outside of Disney property and by I4.

The other outlet is Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlet, small Disney store there.

There is also another Premium Outlet on I-Drive (International Drive)

Lots of shopping :)

This could be a real problem!!! I LOVE SHOPPING!!!!!

We will be hitting Six Flags mid June.....but only because we have a few free tickets.
We went to six flags last month (have season pass cuz of a good discount) and totally missed Disney because of the lack of rides they have for my 18 month old. We took our boys both to Disney world and Disneyland in a span of 6 months and they really enjoyed it. My baby boy was able to enjoy the dumbo ride a week before he turned 1. Disney is awesome! They cater to all ages.

Man!! Got called into work before 8 this morning and just got home :crazy2: Pretty crappy day. Over 115 surgeries through the department today and of course the last two wouldn't pee for me, so I could send them home. Exhausted, but then I come here and see everyone has been busy today, lol!!! You guys always brighten my day :thanks::love::thumbsup2:grouphug:

So is anyone planning on a one day trip to there local amusement park before the cruise?

We might go to Six Flags for a day. Carly has a free ticket for reading at school. Those of you doing six flags, which one are you closest to??? We are definitely going to Raging Rivers the third Tuesday of June. It's our local water park that sits right on the Mississippi River. It's small but fun! We rent a cabana and hang out from open to close. We also thought of heading over for a weekend to Santa Claus, IN. Awesome park there :)

It is a little off topic... does any one's kids play the magic the gathering card game?
:thanks:

My kids don't play Magic, but I know what it is. They do play Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom at the Magic Kingdom though! We love that game

Hay all those are on my list!!! DTD on 9-4( T -Rex), MK&HS&Epcott on 9-5, DTD on 9-6 (Reglan Road)Cruise then to Clearwater Marina on 9-11, Then Treasure island for a day.

WOW! 3 parks in one day!! You guys are definitely ambitious :) I get why though. The only reason we didn't do something like that is because the kids and I will have annual passes. I bought the husband a 5 day pass before ticket prices went up. Our schedule is: 9-5 MK (O'hana), 9-6 AK (Yak and Yeti) then Poly pool,9-7 Kona!!! then cruise, 9-11 check in at BWV and head to Epcot (Rose and Crown), 9-12 pool in morning then HS (Beaches & Cream or 50's PT), 9-13 Free for all, whatever we want to do again.

DTD I love it!! Bunch of shops and we went to La Nouba™ by Cirque du Soleil last year and loved it!! I highly recommend it. The Ghirardelli chocolate shop with the free samples love their ice cream. I know they are changing some shops I think Pandora is moving in and some excellent restaurants also. Very much worth checking it our online. The outlet is awesome too, good deals!

We did La Nouba last year for Carly's birthday. It is a fabulous show!! We also like doing quest. A lot of people don't like it but we do :) I could play Wreck it Ralph all day :goodvibes

Mine is 11 too! It will be a nice group of girls. Hopefully not all the girl drama, lol! I've had enough of that this week with cheerleading practice. Tryouts are tomorrow :yay:

We do not have a local amusement park. We are flying in to MCO early Saturday and staying until Sunday after the cruise. We have hotels and rental cars booked but other details are still being tossed around. Some early contenders for before & after cruise fun include: a Disney water park, DTD, Clearwater aquarium/gulf coast beach day, US/IOA <--that last one is probably less likely due to cost.

Have you ever gone to the Disney water parks? We LOVE the Disney water parks!! If you are going for slides then I suggest Blizzard Beach. There seems to be a lot more slide options there. The family slide is awesome. Everyone fits in the huge huge huge tube!!Did I say HUGE! It also has Summit Plummet, which is a 12 story drop almost straight down. Let's just say major wedgie, lol :rotfl2:There is a wave pool and lazy river too. Now Typhoon Lagoon is awesome too. There are 3 water coasters (think Aqua Duck), slides, lazy river, and the best wave pool ever! Well Carly doesn't think so because it actually scares her. The waves are huge!! This is the park they do surf lessons at early in the morning. I walked out and the water was mid thigh on me (I'm 5'10") When the waves started going they went over my head and were so strong my sunglasses flew off and the wave threw me back and underwater.

Thank you :) I cant wait to meet all these cute kids and their parents!!!

Any of the 2 going on 3 year old kids going through a serious terrible two's phase right now??!! Or am I the only one secretly praying she gets a little better by the time we cruise or else it may be very interesting?! LOL
