sent in closing docs with check. now what?

Sent in my closing docs and they received them today. How long is the wait now and what is the next step? Prelim closing date was november 4th but possibly earlier. When can I book?

Not sure who you are using for your sale/resale. We used the TSS and sent our check/paperwork back on Fri. 10/10 (holiday weekend) and were notified on the 15th that they had our paperwork and got another email on the 16th to say that the closing was done and that we would be getting our information (membership no., etc) within 14-28 days from Disney. Hoping that it comes quicker. Unfortunately you can't make a reservation until you have your membership no. Have read from others that you can register online once you have that number and make reservations. We are eagerly looking forward to making our reservations for next Aug. - hopefully the BW will still have preferred view 2 bedrooms left since we are under the 11 month window but still ahead of the 7 month for non-home members.

We also used the TSS but have been dealing with MVC for everything now. I was informed today that our documents were received so I was just wondering what the next step was.

Surprised to hear that long.
We inquired Sept 4. It was deeded in courts on Oct 18(44 days).
It's another 31 days to get the membership number?

Based on posts here it currently takes about 75 days on average. it used to be 60 but Disney decided to add additional delays by mailing the account info instead of giving it out over the phone.

I think some places are much faster. If both parties involved sign and fax the appears are sent in quicker. They told me Disney has thirty days....so I suspect that many times it could be faster. I was given an estimate of December 10 when we signed which was less than 2 months. I'm thinking that a diligent company will be around 60 days.
