Sent Closing Docs and Check!! What now??

I emailed the person handling my closing with TSS and they told me they recd the docs from seller but there is a problem with the Deed???
So I am still waiting.

Thanks LOL, I think it worked. TSS called me and said that everything is fixed and closing will be done on Monday which is the date in my contract.

So when can I expect to make my first ressie??

This morning I received an e-mail congratulating me on closing my DVC this week! That's nice of them except....I received a phone call LAST FRIDAY, 10/19, telling me I had closed the day before. The e-mail also told me to call Disney on 11/2....that's the day I can start making reservations. I called MS on Monday, 10/22, I was already in the system and made my first ressie! I'm still waiting on the message from disney welcoming me....

The moral of this story is..... CALL your agent/guide. Communication isn't always what it should be.

It took about 7 days to get ours in the DVC system from closing.

I called every afternoon and on Friday was in!

WOO HOO! I just received an email from TSS saying that my closing for the 35 points is completed. I called MS and I am not in the system yet, so I need to have some patience for a little longer.
I also received notice from closing company with docs for my 100 point contract. I went to bank this morning to get the money order and I am sending out today. Hopefully by the end of next week, I will be all closed on that one as well. I am trying really hard to hang in there, but I want to try to get a reservation for begining of Feb and in August and hope there is availability left! I made back up ressie at POP for Feb 8-13, just in case. What do you think my chances are of getting a studio for those dates somewhere??

I sent my closing paperwork in today. Now all I have to do is wait for the check from the buyer.

You're in the same boat as me. We sent in our closing paperwork yesterday. Hopefully the buyer really wants the contract and will send in their paperwork and the check as quickly. Getting rid of our large SSR contract will help us out tremendously.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to receive your check after sending in your closing documents?

I sent one set of closing documents about 13 days ago and one about two days ago. No checks received yet.
