Sensor cleaning help

My sensor is covered with junk. I know I need to clean it, but I'm terrified to scratch it.

What product(s) do you recommend that I order to clean it? I have not tried anything yet, except using a baby nasal aspirator (a new one ) to try to blow the stuff off.

Oh, and I've had my dslr for 9 months and have never cleaned it yet . I guess it is long overdue .
