opinions? i have a few specks but don't know if it is worth paying for a cleaning yet...husband had pretty steady hands...is something like this worth investing in and if it ruins the sensor can it be replaced?( worst case scenario)

I found this site recently which has some pretty good info on cleaning sensors, and the pros/cons of various methods. It's pretty informative.

I haven't thought too seriously about mine although I do change lenses a lot... I figure that I'll worry about it when I actually notice dust specks in the photos, which I haven't yet.

thanks very good link

i have been really careful ( or so i thought) not changing lens in dusty areas, making sure it's off, being as quick as i can without dropping something, even what one guy said about holding the camera face down so anything falls out instead of in but i already have 2 noticeable splats..very annoying..i can get rid of them via photoshop but it just annoys me knowing they are there ( there goes that anal retentiveness...oops, i mean "detail oriented" ness again  )
