Has your DD expressed concerns about the padding? I ask this because DD and all of her friends are concerned about the "headlight" effect as they call it. They don't want the world to know when they are cold .

I think if you look inside any of the suits she has tried on you will see that you can remove the padding in all of them and if she wants, replace it with something thinner.

LaBlanca Swimwear is THE BEST.

I feel your DD's pain-- I have been blessed/cursed with DD breasts but a fairly slim body elsewhere. I typically have to buy Large or XL large shirts and small or medium bottoms.

LaBlanca is expensive but it is amazing. The tops come in bra sizes and last forever. I bought 2- a blank top and a printed brown and white top. Then I hit Old Navy and bought lots of different bottoms to mix and match with the tops.

This was probably 5 years ago. I still wear the same tops (they're in great condition).

Check out Aerin Rose swimsuits. I buy just the tops then go to Target and buy solid bikini bottoms.

My SIL has the same problem. She goes to a store, I think it's called H2O. All they sell are swim suits and beach wear. Pac Sun may be another choice. I can't really say cause god knows I don't have that problem but these are a couple of stores that my SIL has had some luck at.

DD1 has always been "blessed." We have bought her (not cheap) bathing suit at California Sunshine, but we went to the store (not online). Now, she's a young mom and has bought a one-piece.

My 16 yo gd is having a hard time finding a bikini top to fit her. She's endowed with a dd chest, and the rest of her is slim. Every top she likes seems to be padded..she sure doesn't need that. Where do you ladies, that are that size 34dd, find tops that aren't padded? She's pretty miserable right now.

My 14yodd is the same size and she got nice suit at Macy's JR dept. Now it is lightly padded but not overly.

OP Padded of lined. I know a lot of people think the lining is padding. If you are endowned you need a little padding for the chill water. Otherwise you might cut glass when you get out, KWIM?
