You had a full weekend, didn't ya?
And now you are down to just a very few days of school left,
with a beach trip close enough to touch.
You must be a pretty happy girl these days! :)

getting caught up. So glad you were all safe during tornadoes, how awful for the families. I am very glad to hear Chelsea s scolosis news is ok for now and in a watch mode, a brace is hard at any age but tween...ugh! She looked stunning her dress. I have heard of runners knee, how great that Pat could give such great advice!

I am sooo behind but wanted to come give a quick hi! And hope you had a nice mother's day last weekend! Things are always way crazy for me here the first weeks of May, but as you know I got my spring break trip pics up, so hopefully an update is coming along this weekend!! :goodvibes Can't wait to hear how things are brewing for your summer, too!! ;)

Hi Jackie! Glad you had a nice Easter and Mother's Day! It is so terrible to see so much devastation down there. I'm glad your family was spared. There are so many DIS friends all around the South, it is hard to remember who is where when you hear about the storms, but I have been concerned about all of you. My kids in San Antonio were hiding under desks with their students yesterday while a tornado passed by - their first experience - pretty scarey!:scared1:

That is so hard to believe, only 10 more school days! I used to look forward to the end of the school year, but since I no longer have kids in school I don't keep track. It seems like the year has fled by.

Now, it's only five school days for us!!! It is flying by!!!

It really stinks everything that is happening.. I hope things get better around there soon. I've been debating moving to that state/area... but idk I'm starting to get worried..

and your little treats look amazing.. I would eat them at 4am too! :goodvibes

Well, spring always brings some big storms. My dad constantly reminds me that I have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting hit by a tornado. I tell myself that a lot when the sirens are going off.

Glad it could help. I have been dealing with this for too many years, probably since I was Chelsea's age and I will certainly share anything I have learned since it seems like most of the doctors don't have a solution. :confused3 I have braced and wrapped but the tape was a Godsend. I have really made it work and the KT tape is expensive but it is pre- cut. I have actually started cutting the strips in half since they are so long so I am making it last. I will probably get 8 applications out of the roll instead of the 2 i got from a cheap roll of tape.

Let me know if you have any questions. I will try to help the best I can.

Chelsea has been so much happier since she has been able to start running again. Not being athletic myself, I don't think I really realized how much she missed it!

How are your beach plans coming along?

Beach plans? What are those? I can't quite seem to focus on beach stuff until the school year is over. Hopefully I will be able to get completely organized in the six days I will have once post planning is finished. :scared1:

Thanks, Michelle! I know you had a great one! Hope you are having a grand time in Minnesota!

Our local paper had an article about the Georgia Sea Islands and, of course, Tybee Island is one of those islands. Makes me want to go!!

Hi, Cynthia! Thank you! We have been going non-stop for a couple of weeks now! I am definitely in need of a vacation! I bought Throne of Fire for Connor this week and have hidden it away for the trip. He will be so excited!

Hi, Happydog! I wondered if you were busy with testing and such! I know a lot of my high school teachers have been busy with End-of-Course testing and AP exams. Looking forward to your update! I loved all your pictures on Facebook!
