My DH, DD7, and I will be on the Dream next weekend (Feb 17-20). This is our 2nd DCL. Last year, I didn't get to enjoy any of the adult things. I can't afford any of the spa services but I was interested in the Senses Rainforest Room.

What's available in the Rainforest?
How much is a pass for the entire trip? Or day pass?
Do I need to pre-book or can I book the Rainforest Room when I arrive on the ship at Guest Services?

Thank you!

You do not need to notebook, just show up. Even the sad day a few weeks ago only had 1 person besides DH and I. I want to say for a 4 night cruise it was around $144 for a couple..
You can buy 1 day passes ahead of time for $16 plus 18percent gratuity.
We love the rainforest room and day passes work for us. We do not use the scribe and I read a recent thread that you can no longer buy 'll eighth of stay passes without the scribe. We also did not use it the first day due to time constraints.

A quick Google of "Disney Dream Rainforest Room" will give you several blog articles with detail and photos.

Basically, you have three different kinds of steam rooms, with varying degrees of steam/heat. You have three different specialty showers, each with several unique settings involving different scents, water temperature and pressure. Finally, you have heated tile lounge chairs and two-person personal hot tubs with a great view of the ocean.

You can only buy the length-of-cruise passes at the spa once you are in the ship. But you can buy the one-day passes in advance on the DCL site under "Gifts & Amenities". I think the going rate for a one-day pass is $16.

The length-of-cruise for a 4-day is $99, I think, so yours should be a little less. It's a pretty sweet deal IF you use it every day. My problem is that we get busy and I find myself using it only maybe three days out of my seven.

The conventional wisdom is that there is a very limited number of length-of-cruise passes available to prevent the RR from being overrun, and to keep it as serene as possible. Not sure what your budget is, or how busy your days will be (kids, port adventures, etc.), but I think it's definitely worth trying once for $16.

We purchased two single day passes for our 7-day Fantasy cruise, so we could go twice. Sadly we were too busy to go twice but really loved our one visit and would definitely get day passes again. We had our two kids 10/12 and inlaws along so much of our time was spent together which was fun but not so restful. Being in the RR was a treat and I fell asleep on the lounge following time in the sauna, steam rooms, showers and hot tub! We spent about 90 minutes at the RR - note this was after 90-minute massages - so perhaps others spend more time.

On a three night with a child I would only get a single day pass. And ENJOY it! The $16 day paases are extremely inexpensive for what you get, an exceptional value. Hard to believe DCL has such a great price on such a luxury to be honest!
