Senseo has arrived!

A little off-topic but kind of related - I got the Senseo but I'm not crazy about the coffee - it just does not taste good to me. Anyone else like or dislike it?

I did it back in August but just received my e-mail yesterday that I will be getting one. Did you all refer people you thought would lie one? I did! I know lots of people who like free stuff.

so i filled out the survey and received the first email thanking me for submitting it and stating that not everyone would be chosen but they are reviewing the surveys....is there any hope that I would still be chosen? Would I get an additional email?

Will, it's the Senco coffee maker! I am so jazzed! Guess I'll have coffee tomorrow and try it out. It took almost 2-3 weeks to get her, for all of you that are waiting for it.

I just spoke to a friend of mine telling her of my great deal. She burst my bubble when she told me that I could have the one she had paid $80 for! She was going to send hers off to Goodwill as she was very disappointed in it. She said the coffee didn't taste good and the cup was so tiny her husband thought it was a joke! I am not as excited about this as I was before. So is the cup smaller then a normal coffee cup or what?

I also just heard from someone today that she tried Senseo at Sams Club a while back and thought the coffee was bad. I will try it when it comes, and tag sale it if it is not as good as it sounded.

I submitted the survey on August 20th, so it really did take 4 weeks to get back to me (Today is September 19.)

I can't wait to try this! I love coffee but hate having to brew more than I drink.

I own one and love it. I actually really like the taste of the Senseo coffee especially Vanilla and Hazelnut flavors but if you don't like it, there is an attachment you can buy on amazon which takes regular coffee. Also- if you want a bigger cup of coffee, use the 2 cups option. It takes 2 pods.

I typically get 2 good cups from one pod. I use the single cup option and then make another single cup using the same pod. My mother gets 3 cups from one pod, but she likes her coffee weaker than I do. By the 3rd cup, it is too weak for me.

Yippee! Got my Senseo too. It came yesterday. I received the same confirmation e-mail as above stating it would be shipped in 3 to 4 weeks on 8/31, so it did take about 3 weeks.

Does anyone have the link from the email for the website to put in your shipping information?

I received an email from them yesterday (after doing the survey in August and getting the first email), but it was in my Yahoo email bulk folder, and I had already hit empty when I noticed it was there. I couldn't find any way to get it back, and I don't want to miss out on my free coffee maker (DH and I don't drink coffee, but this would be great for guests since we don't currently own a coffee maker).

To make hot chocolate is pretty easy, just don't put a pod it in. Add hot chocolate mix to mug, press the button and stir.
