Ok, my first day of Senior year starts on August 28th. To tell you the truth, Im kinda scared. I kinda feel like Im not ready. Does anyone else who is going into their Senior year, feel the same way? Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get through this?

Not a senior in HS, but I'm going into my senior year in college. I am so ready to graduate in May!

I'm going into my senior year this year and I guess I feel sorta wierd. It feels like I'm still quite young to be soon graduating. I remember when I was younger and I thought the seniors were so big and mature and it's pretty crazy that I'm coming to the end already. I think we just have to live in the moment. I'm sure you have great friends that are right there with you.

My first day of senior year was yesterday. It's so weird, I still am expecting to see last years seniors around school bragging about being seniors...but thats us now. Its so weird to me, I can't get it wrapped around my head that in a year, I have to actually start my life[well at least my life away from parents].
Other than that the first day was awesome. I don't feel any different at school though. I mean I guess I am more confident and sure of myself than when I was a freshman, & I am more dedicated to learning and actually care about passing my classes.

We got our senior ski trip information today though. $203 dollars just to go/stay at lodge, $55 for ONE day of skiing. Another $100+ dollars for food for four days. Then we might go ice skating[15], horseback riding[20], or shopping. & we can't go in the super cool pool/hot tub either. :[

& our senior assembly is tomorrow....I think?

I'm a senior this year, too! I start on monday, gak.
Don't worry about it. Senior year is the easiest, and teachers are gonna cut you some slack - at least they do to seniors at my school.
Although to be honest, I guess it feels a little weird for me, too. I can't believe I'm so old. I can't believe this time next year I'll be a high school graduate. ... but at the same time, this time next year I'll be a high school graduate!!

im a senior and i had my first day today. and it was just another day of school. only you get perks of being the upper class. i didnt want to go, b/c i felt that summer isn't over yet. but when i was in school it was like just like any other year. but that is just me

I started my senior year last week. To me, it just felt like the first day of school. I really don't feel any different. I know that will change the closer I get to graduation, but right now I'm pretty calm. But, I agree with you that I don't really feel "ready". The fact that I will be out of high school by May is a little mind-blowing to me. I guess I feel to young to be a senior. If that makes sense.
