My daughter and 3 or 4 of her friends are thinking about taking a trip to Disney World to celebrate Senior Week. Most kids spend a week at the Beach, but I think that for almost the same money they could be in Disney World where there is way to much to do than sit around and drink.
Any suggestions on the best way to plan this trip? Should they look for all inclusive WDW packages? Has anyone else had kids who opted for this? Which hotels are a better choice for good(but unsupervised) high school seniors. Also, who has the best deals for transportation from the airport to Disney?

Thanks!

My son and 6 of his friends did that last year, 2003. They stayed at the all star, its cheapest. I booked everything myself.Did the tickets thru mapleleaf tickets.com. and booked my own airfare, it cost each kid like $600 for 5 night, airfare, and 5 day park hopper plus 2 options and a limo back and forth from the airport. used Dixie Limo for that , they are great! A bunch of us thought the same that there would be safer and more to do. They didnt get up early like us parents do to get going on the day, but they did have a great time and glad they did it. They did find alot of kids there from other schools also. I am guessing pop century or all star would be the best they are spread out so if they do get a little noisey it isnt that bad.
good luck and congrats on the graduation!!

First off, someone in the party must be at least 18 to get the room. I would say to go with one of the value resorts or either of Port Orleans since they are on the ferry line to DTD. I would book things seperate. Doing an all inclusive turns out more expensive. Look for discounts on rooms & tickets. Depending on how long they plan on staying (full 7 days to go to parks) may be worth getting an AP & doing another trip prior to expiration of the annual pass. With the AP they will get some discounts on rooms, meals, activities & shopping. I don't know of any who have done that, but we live down here & the H.S.'s here usually do either Grad Night at WDW or Grad Bash at USO & that is just for one night.
