DD16 is a senior. I have NO IDEA when her senior skip day is but I wouldn't care if she chose to skip. I'd just be happy that she were healthy enough to be attending school.
Due to a life-threatening illness & several surgeries, she hasn't been in school since last October (been on home-teaching when she's not in the hospital). She has her final surgery schedule for this Wednesday, and after her recovery, should be in good health again....just in time for graduation.
But yes, I'd tell her it's fine to skip, and wouldn't give it another thought.
