My DD has her senior pictures taken next week and I think I am going to lose my mind.
DS had his taken 6 years ago and it was really no big deal. It seemed easier. DD can take 3 outfits and this is so hard. I have read... use neutral solid colors, stay away from patterns etc... I am trying to tell her to stick to solids, but when I look at other pictures from photographers I see patterns. Se has an "olive" color skin tone. Not real dark, but not fair and pale like her mother. We want to make sure she has the right colors with her skin. Also, she has to have one nice picture for her yearbook and she can't figure out what to wear for that. She NEVER dresses up. She loves her jeans and t-shirts. What in the heck will she wear for the yearbook picture! I told her she can wear jeans for everything, but one shirt has to be nice enough for the yearbook.
DH keeps saying... Just let her be herself. It does not matter, but it seems sooooo important right now! Silly... I know.
Sorry.... just stressing a little with my dis-friends.

I would think a professional photographer can work with most anything within reason.
