Sending Luggage Ahead UPS....

Hi! I wasn't sure where to post this topic? Anyway, for our next trip to Disney I am contemplating sending all of our luggage ahead using UPS. Has anyone else done this? At the airport last year, security dumped out my suitcase in front of everyone else waiting to check in and went through each item-including my underwear and I'd really not go through that again if I don't have to!!! Please post your experiences with shipping luggage ahead.

Hi there!

We sent ours ahead using Fedex last year. We dropped our luggage off at our nearest Fedex office. They weighed it, and it took about 5 days to arrive in Orlando, and cost about 30 dollars, ground service. When we arrived at our hotel, our luggage was there. It really worked well because we had taken 2 very large suitcases and a box filled with my nieces b-day present. It really is easier when you don't have to handle all of that luggage! Hope this helps
