It's going to be an expensive lunch for me today. Buying my first add-on, 50 points at SSR. All the paperwork has cleared ROFR, so off to the bank I go.

Have I set the record for quickest add-on? Our first DVC trip isn't until May 27th.

I don't think so, my contract closed on 11/8/08, I added-on 30 pts the same night my points were put in my account and my first DVC trip was in Nov 09. Kind of hard to beat that...lol.

We had been thinking about buying DVC for a while. Well, last summer we decided to bite the bullet. We had an offer for 170 points at VWL accepted on a Friday afternoon. We decided Friday night that wasn't enough points for us. On Saturday, we had an offer accepted on 175 BCV points. Within 2 weeks, we decided that we really needed more points - we had an offer accepted on 200 OKW points. Within 2 weeks, we went from owning 0 points to having 3 contracts before ROFR. We did wait a while before adding on our 4th contract.

Ok, i don't feel so bad now. I'm going from 130 to 180 points.
