Question - I bought a 5 day park hopper through Visit Orlando for their black Friday deal. Didn't realize it expires May 2018. :( My mistake, as I didn't read it carefully enough. They don't allow returns (I'm going in December 2018). I just received the ticket today, and I did not add it to my disney experience or anything... am I allowed to "sell" this ticket? I am so mad I didn't read the fine print about it expiring May 2018...

OH can you???? I might look into that. I had no idea that was an option...
Check into it! I would check the boards here and with wdw direct. This is how Disneyland has been handling tickets as we've had expiration dates for years. I thought I saw something on WDW doing this but I can't find it now! In your shoes I'd email wdw because I'd want it in writing.

Yes, you can sell an unused ticket. Having not connected it to MDE makes it easier, but even if you had you can still sell it. Just takes a connection with the buyer on MDE to transfer it.

Idk but can't you apply the $$$ value to a future ticket even after the expiration date?

But in the past with discount tickets, you do it at Disney they only give the value of the ticket they sold it for so not what you paid but what Visit Orlando sold it for.

Also selling in selling tickets its possible that both the seller and the buyer can be scammed but this may not as big of issue if tickets can be transferred electronically.

You should post this on the Ticket sticky.

Are you sure it really expires in May? I thought folks found that the real expiration date is the same as all other available tickets; 12/31/2018

I called Disney customer service, and they looked up the ticket number... it expires June 8, 2018. :(

I tried calling and asking and they told me no, that since it was from a third party that once it expires Disney won't do anything with it. Now, not sure if they just don't know, or just said that, but that makes me a little nervous.

Yikes! Yeah, I'd head right over to that ticket sticky a PP mentioned and inquire about what to do over there.

The folks on the phone are notorious for providing inaccurate information.
