selling gifts cards

does anyone have any experience with selling gift cards that you never used?
can you share what sites you use, thank you

I just used ebay to sell 2 Disney Gift Cards leftover from our trip. They each had $50 on them. I got them at Target with my Dad's Target Discount and the 5% Redcard Discount so paid $42.75. I just wanted to get some money for them as I knew we were not going back for a while. The 1st card sold for $51.33 the send for like $48.57. Not sure why someone would pay more then what the card is worth unless they are going through some site that gives them cash back on purchases through e-bay.

When we won our Disney trip a few years ago it also included $1500 in Dick's gift cards. I sold either $500 or $1000 worth on eBay to help offset taxes. I have also sold a few odd-ball ones that I have won in contests on eBay also.

I'm also puzzled as to why people pay more than cost for Amazon, etc. on eBay.
