we're planning on selling our dvc membership before our ap runs out. If we go to renew our ap (after selling dvc), can we use the renewal rate for our ap? Of course it'd be the general public renewal rate, not the dvc rate, but since our ap was originally bought under the dvc member price, can we get the public renewal discount?

Yes, you can renew at the tourist rate and keep the renewal savings.

when does your ap expire? keep in mind the selling process takes at least 90 days to fully close

Our ap expires May 1. That's good to know -- didn't realize it took so long
