I have to reduce my huge scrapbook and stamp studio in half because we are moving. Where can I sell scrapbook and rubber stamp supplies? I have tried Craigslist but I am tired of the scammers. Ebay is so expensive these days.

Any other good places you all can recommend?

Most of the major message boards have for sale or trade boards you can post your items for sale at

It should be pretty easy to figure out who on craigslist is a scammer. Just skip those emails and move on to the legit replies.

this...or is there some sort of craftfair you could set up at? any scrapbook boards...

Didn't you just sell thousands of stamps on Craigslist recently? Or was that the scammer?

Our local scrapbook store has a crafters garage sale a couple of times a year. You might check and see if anyone nearby has one coming up.

I just read something the past week or so - on the community board maybe - about someone who sold a huge collection of stamps. I can't remember where she said she did it though. You could do a search - I know it was 6,000 stamps - that detail stuck in my head because although I have quite a collection of scrapbook supplies (and some stamps) I was astounded, lol!

I still stuff on Craigslist and Kijijii all the time. Never ran into problems with scammers. :confused3

But then I sell locally only. Most people pick-up from me. Sometimes my husband offers to drop stuff off to them if they are on his route to/from work.

That was the OP of this thread who posted that.

That was me. I did sell them. I got a lot of interest and I weeded out the scammers.

I actually didn't find the buyer on Craigslist. I put them on ebay and they didn't sell and someone saw that auction and concated me.It worked out but it took more than 2 weeks.

yes....it was a huge collection. I have been stamping for more than 20 years. I even bought out a small home stamp business a while back. Kept what I wanted and resold the rest, that added thousands of stamps to my collection. The woman that bought my collection is going to do the same thing.
