I have about 150 beanie babies that my girls no longer play with or even look at. I was thinking of trying to sell them, but don't have a clue where to sell them or even how much to ask for them. Ebay totally confuses me and I have no idea have t get started. If I sell them at a yard sale, how much do you think I could get for them?

All proceeds go towards our upcoming Disney Trip - please help ;-)

You would probably have better luck on Ebay....but if you try to sell them at a garage sale I would say expect what you might for any other small stuffed animal since your daughters had played with them....if they hadn't it would be a completely different story. But considering that they are only - well I know they're priced different everywhere - but on average $7.50 each I would guess (this is only a guess) that the very most you might get at a garage sale is $2-$3 MAYBE - and then I wouldn't expect that much. I think the difference you would make selling them on Ebay would be worth the time spent on researching how it all works.

I also think you should try and sell them on Ebay. I just started listing things on Ebay last Thursday and it's not that hard at all. If you have a digital camera it's easy to take the picture then load it into your computer, you register on Ebay then go to "sell your item" it takes you through step by step and it's really easy to do. Look on ebay and see what the exact beanie babies are selling for then decide what you want to list them for. You can list them all together or separately, right now there is one listing on Ebay for beanie babies, it's a lot of them and the bid is like $600.00, not sure if they are the same ones you would want to sell but it's a start. I listed a bunch of old Fisher Price toys and my bids are at $189.00 and that is way more then I thought I would ever make on these old toys.

If you want more information or have more questions, I'll be glad to help you as much as I can.

You might go to ebay and search for the particular baby you have on completed items and see what they have been going for. Most of them that my d has are going for a dollar or so. If they are very rare, you might get more but Beanies are pretty passe now.

It never hurts to try but remember there are listing fees and it may be better to actually sell them for 50 cents at a yard sale.

I have a ton of Beanie Babies and I can't seem to give them away! No Joke! I actually sorted through all of mine and decided which ones I really wanted (my collection of bears mostly) and then I started giving them away for birthday and Christmas presents (to children). I tried selling them on Ebay once and didn't make anything. I actually lost money. If you really want to sell them, sell them at yard/garage sale. You could at least make something there.

My son has tons of beanie babies that he wants to get rid of. I have searched Ebay, and even the old rare ones aren't bringing anything. I think the beanie market has crashed and died. :(

We have so many beanies, too, and I think I'm gonna donate some to the Women's shelter and hospitals here.

Beanies are not selling well on Ebay. I tried several old ones and the McD's sets. I did sell 12 last year (out of 14) at our garage sale. I got $4.00...new ones, not played with. Our local Children's Hospital takes them and you can write it off as a donation for taxes.

When I had my last garage sale two years ago, I couldn't give the Beanie Babies away!!! They are still sitting wrapped up in my basement! Their value really nosedived big time!!
