i thought i saw a thread on here dealing with segway tours? i was hoping someone could rehash how to book one and how much are they?

please and thanks. they sound great.

We've done both the Epcot and Ft. Wilderness ones and loved them!
Any preference? We've done the Epcot one three times and had a blast each time. I'm thinking of trying the Ft. Wilderness one but wondered if it as much fun as rolling through all the countries around the WS.

I actually liked the Ft. Wilderness one better. You get to off road a little, you tour one of the campsite loops, and you are on the Segways longer. When we did the Epcot one it was 1 hour training and 1 hour riding. For the Ft. Wilderness it was more like 1/2 hour training and 1 1/2 hours riding. We took the Segways all the way over to Wilderness Lodge and back.

DS and I did the Epcot one two years ago and LOVED it. In fact, he has been trying to talk me into buying him a Segway to use at college next year :rotfl2: . As part of his Christmas gifts this year, I booked us the Ft. Wilderness tour for our trip next month :thumbsup2 . I can't wait. It sounds like a blast  .

DH & I did the Around the World on a Segway tour last month and had a blast! For about a week after our return home, DH kept telling me that he "needed" a segway for home so he could use it to get to work. (We're 5 miles away.) I just laughed and told him what I tell DS about getting a sweet sports car for his 16th birthday..."It's nice to have dreams dear!"

I did have to rearrange our March trip to include the Ft. Wilderness segway tour and we're both looking forward to it, but hoping there isn't any rain that day.
dznyacct...we're doing the tour on 3/11 at 11:30...not sure if ya'll will be on that tour or different day. From the looks of your countdown I'm guessing it will be a different day.

Both tours offer a discount...I used our Disney Visa one since that is what I reserved it with, but all available discounts were the same. It was well worth the price of the tour for the one in Epcot and I'm sure the one at Ft. Wilderness will be, too. The only thing that bothered me (for about a split second) about the Epcot tour was the first time in training we were told to go forward, make a 180 degree turn to the right and go back to the next set of cones. That was when I realized we had an audience. (gulp)

If you decide to do the tours I'm sure you won't regret the cost or the time spent.

We have done both also, and prefered the Fort Wilderness one. It just seemed longer, and it was fun to go "off road" so to speak.

We had friends do both and they preferred the Fort Wilderness one as well.

We also have done both, and maybe because we have camped several times, really loved the FW one.
