We were hoping to do the Segway tour in Dec. Do you need park admission to do the tour?
Thanks in advance, Murphy

::MickeyMo Yes, admission is required and not included in the tour price. It's definitely worth it though! It's our favorite! ::MinnieMo

Do you have reservations yet? If not, don't be surprised if you can't get one :guilty: . I have been trying for MONTHS to get one for my trip (11/29-12/10) and no luck.

Thanks for the quick replies. We don't have a reservation yet, and are travelling Dec 9-15, so we are probably out of luck, too. Maybe there will be some last minute cancelations.

We are traveling 12/4-12/14 and I called in Sept to get my ressie and only had 2 days left to pick from, the 10th at 8:30 was the one we picked and I don't remember the other, but it was earlier in the trip. So call ASAP to see if someone has cancelled. Good luck :wizard: !

I actually know some of this info if you haven't already inquired. (We have 2 spots booked on Tuesday 12/13.) Really wanted Wednesday 12/14, but it is sold out. We call every few days to check. As of today..still sold out on 12/14 but 1 open spot at 830 & 1 open spot at 930 on Thursday 12/15. There are only 10 spots/time slot, and only 2 time slots/day so they sell out quickly. You pay up front, but can cancel up to 48 hrs in advance so perhaps there will be some cancelations as we get closer. They do have an alterate 'simply segway tour' for half the price, but it is just learning how to ride a segway in the practice room--doesn't sound nearly as appealing as riding through World Showcase. We got a AAA discount too.

You can call 407 WDW TOUR to check but I had to post since you would be there during some of the times we inquired about today. :earsgirl:

Just in case you can't get into the two hour Segway tour, here is some info about the one hour Simply Segway Experience which my DH and I did last month. It is offered at 12:30 and 1:45 pm. Most of the time you spend learning how to ride inside but you do get to go outside between Innoventions West and the rose garden. They block off a brick sidewalk and you get to ride for 15-20 minutes outside. The cost is $30 per person but with our Disney Visa we got 20% off. It was lots of fun and by doing the afternoon tour, we got to ride our favorite attractions at Epcot in the morning when it was less crowded. Now that I know the segways are so much fun and not a bomb like our Keys to the Kingdom tour, we'll gladly skip the rides and pay the extra amount for the two hour Segway tour on our next trip.

Good luck! I hope you can get a spot!

Donna,

Thanks for the info. This sounds like so much fun and much less money than the other. I think the fun for the first time will be just trying it :cool1:
