Segway tour--bus???

My husband and I have the segway tour planned for 8:30am next saturday. We have to be there at 8:15. Will I be able to get a bus to Epcot that early or will I have to get a taxi?

While you're waiting for a knowledgeable response, I'd say count on getting a taxi. There probably is a bus that will get there at about that time since Akershus starts serving breakfast at 8:30, but since you have paid $80 in advance for this tour, I would not suggest depending on the bus unless someone in "purple pants" says a bus can definitely get you there by 8:00.

Well, I don't wear the purple pants but Tyler has tired to train me.

Anyway, the buuses will start running about 7AM. Be out at the bus stop 45-50 minutes before you are supposed to be there. This is in case you have just missed the bus and have to wait for the next one. They run every 20 minutes or so.

DH & I did the early Segway Tour in April. We were staying at POR. We went to the bus stop early figuring there would be an early bus. No busses for Epcot were showing up. We asked a few different bus drivers. All of them told us the Epcot bus would not start the loop until approx. 7:45am. A little past 7:45 an Epcot bus arrived. It was then held at the last stop in the loop until 8am. We got to Epcot, ran to the only open entrance which was way down, waited on line for the security bag check & to be checked in on their list, then again half ran to guest services (we were afraid of the being late & the tour leaving without us). We got to Guest Services at about 8:25am. A few people came in after us so it all worked out ok, but I was really stressed. (I don't like to be late). Next time we'll take a taxi.
