Segway tour at Epcot

I've scheduled an 8:30 Segway tour for November. Does anyone know if I'll be able to catch a bus from POP to Epcot that will get me there by 8:15? (assuming the park doesn't open until 9) Should I plan on taking a cab?

There are busses that start at about 7-7:15 for guests having early morning PSs for the Princess breakfast at Norway and the tours. So, if you are out at the bus stop at about 7:30, you will be fine.

Have a wonderful time. We loved this so much we went over to Celebrations and rented them with guide for an hour tour there (which was more like an hour and 45 minutes!). Next time we would just skip the Epcot and go directly to Celebration, to the Segway store. They also allow younger people than Epcot, let the adults use faster Segeways, and gave a great leson (we didn't need it, but enjoyed watching two teens learn how to use them).

How much was the Segway rental at Celebration??

I can't remember, but if you have several of you, they will bargain. I want to say about $50 each..but I would be guessing. We really thought it was worth the price, and I like a bargain. They are very laid back.

DMRick: When you say that Celelbration lets "younger" people rent Segways, any idea how young? I have a 12 year old who I know would love this.

I would call and ask. We talked about two eleven year olds, and one nine year old. He said yes, but they would use the smaller Segways..which is what we used at Disney. We went out with two teens (14 or 15, and he was very patient giving them lessons.
Personally for the money, we definately thought that was a much better deal (money wise and tour wise) than Disney's. We went all through the backside of Celebration, through the woods over the bridges. It was great!!
