Seeking info on the Undiscovered Future World tour

DH and I love taking the tours. We've done the Hidden Treasures of the World Showcase and now I'm interested in the front side of Epcot: Undiscovered Future World. From some other reports that I have read, one of the features of the tour is an in depth look at how Illuminations is put together with a close up look at the barges -AND you will get VIP seating for the Illuminations show. Can anyone tell me about this tour - what you liked and what you didn't.

I posted a review of the tour on allearsnet.com in September. Direct link: http://allearsnet.com/btp/tour_fw8.htm. I note that although there is a bench in the VIP viewing area for Illuminations, it faces the wrong way, so it isn't so much VIP seating as VIP standing.

Thank you so much for posting that report. It looks as if this will be the tour we take on our next trip. Try as I may, my DH has no interest on the Segway.

What is the hidden treasures of world showcase tour? I've never heard that one - is it good? Do they still do it?
