I'm posting a new thread to see if it shows up. I've posted replies to two different threads this morning, one at 10:09 AM and one at 10:54 AM. It is now after 11:00 AM and neither thread shows mine as the Last Post on Tech Support. Here are links to the two threads.

testing 123

and

Testing...ignore please...

On both of these, when I view the thread, I see my post as the last post to the thread. Do others see my reply? I do not see my name as the "Last Post" when viewing the Tech Support forum page nor has my post count updated for these replies. The post count itself is not a big deal to me but it indicative of an issue somewhere in the database.

Yes, I see your last post there and your name is not the one listed as last post. Bad news...

Yes, we can see those posts. I know that there was a problem quite some time ago with updating of lesser functions (it may not have even been with this particular software). It's possible that the lower priority functions do not update very quickly when the server is under stress. I'm sure that they (admins) know about this and just about all of the other little glitches that are happening, including the mail. I don't even report any non-essential hiccups anymore Bob. I'm just happy that we can still post at all.

:)

It's also possible that they are doing something right now that would cause this. There is really no way for us to know.

It was reported anyway, and this thread has updated properly as well (just to let you know what I know so you don't think we hold anything back).

Thanks, JC.

If you happen to stop back by this thread, you might notice that your last reply did not register. The forum page shows 3 replies (as of 12:11 PM MST) and your last one would have been the 4th reply (at 11:27 AM MST) and this one the 5th.

It shows 4 as I post this, this should make 6. It is updating, just very slowly, which would support what I posted earlier (sort of).

<font color=navy>These type of problems just increase my admiration for the techies who know how to do all the programming, and then have to go through with a fine-toothed comb to make sure that every little character is where it should be so this huge site works. It mind-boggles me.

Glitches like these are easy to put up with, as long as we can still post & share with each other. :)

I just say one of my mantras... This too shall pass ;)

Heh.... I think I should change my title to "lower priority functionary" ;)
