So we are only able to go to the parks one day. My mom is a huge fireworks fan, and we haven't seen World of Color and would love to see it so we are trying to figure out if we could do both in one night. We will be at Disney next Saturday. The fireworks are at 930, and World of Color is at 900 and 1015. I was thinking of seeing the fireworks and then as soon as they are done running out of there over to DCA to try to see with 1015 World of Color. Does that seem doable?

It might be possible if you watch the fireworks from the railroad station nearest the entrance of Disneyland and if you have reserved standing for WoC. We watched the fireworks from the alley between the GCH and Soarin' Over California, then we ran back to WCT to get escorted to the reserved section of WoC.

I've done it the other way around.

Watch the early WOC show from the rear, then head immediately to DL to watch the fireworks from Main St.

If you have not seen WOC then don't try it. For the most part the show times are such that it is very difficult for able bodied folks who know exactly where to go. For folks who do not know exactly where to go or are maybe not 100% able bodied with everyone in their group, it is not very practical.

Seeing WOC for the first time should not involve a rush job. I do not recommend WOC for folks on day trips but if you want to see WOC then plan just for that. If you want to rush it then it is better to skip WOC IMO.
