Hi...If I reserve a theme park view room in the Grand Californian, any chance I can see fireworks from the room? If yes, any particular building or floor I should ask for?
Theme park views are views of DCA not DL so if you wanted a view of the fireworks you might want to get a DTD view. We could see them from our room there.
Be warned - if you request DTD - you may be upgraded to a theme park view if they run out of DTD rooms. There are only 120 or so of them, so they go quick. I would check in early, if you can.
This happened to me the week of Christmas and I couldn't get downgraded.
