Security?

I heard that there were some security changes a while back and now you go through security at the TTC instead of at Magic Kingdom (unless you take a bus that drops you off at the front). So, if I hop from Magic Kingdom to Epcot by taking the monorail, do I have to go through security again at Epcot?

Yes you do. Unfortunately the monorail exit at Epcot is outside of the secure area so you have to go through security again there. However if you hop from Epcot to MK you don’t have to go through security again as you remain in a secure area

Yes, you will go through security at the Epcot front entrance after exiting the monorail station.

Wish they could somehow corral the monorail guests but apparently they cannot.

Eventually. For now, the exit is outside the secure zone. Just not forever.

Supposedly, when they complete the EPCOT remodel and change the entrance, guests comcing off the monorail won't have to go through security again.
It will be nice when that is completed.

Yeah, for some reason that epcot security line seems like it has too few booths for the 3 different types of people entering (monorail, bus and self driving)

And I'm always stuck behind someone who doesn't understand that every zipper needs to be unzipped
