Is there still a "no bags" security line for entering the parks? May try to go bagless for the first time if so..

right. thanks. was just wondering if there was a separate one for people with no bags at all.

Is there a separate AP entrance at the parks?

Yes. The whole entrance process is so much better and expedited though that it probably isn't necessary most of the time. The placard is there and it did look like it was staffed during busier times, but many times it wasn't open as the regular lines were super short. In most cases it probably would take longer to go to the AP entrance than to just go in through one of the regular ones. This was my experience last week when it was super busy in the parks.

The new scanners are great, the speed is awesome and there is no real need for a no bag line. We did see that they were sending ALL strollers to certain lines so that might slow you down if you have one.

I did look for the Passholder lines (we've had one for years just not this trip) and they were no time savings. I think the difference is that they weren't having you scan your finger so the lines move well.

Have they started using the finger scan again? As of our May trip, they weren't doing that yet.

I saw someone trying to do the no bag thing 2 weeks ago, and security told them that everyone must go through the walk-through scanner. This was at DHS. I also saw someone asking to bypass the scanner due to a disability (not ECV, wheel chair, or crutches), and security said everyone goes through. Not sure about things like pace makers though. I doubt the scanners would interfere with that.

Still not as of 2 weeks ago.
