Going to WDW on the Autotrain this October; they tell you to lock your luggage in the trunk for the trip however I have a station wagon so the "trunk" is accessible from the interior of the car... I don't want anyone rooting through my stuff & possibly stealing items (especially my souveniers on the way home) ... Once the cars are loaded I know they aren't accessible to travelers but what about staff etc? Also other than those cheap luggage locks does anyone have any other solutions? People with Minivans must have experienced the same dilemma before or am I over reacting?
Thanks!

Although we have always taken our car where the trunk lock is different than the door/ignition lock, we have left stuff in the back seat. We have not had anything bothered. FYI - you might want to take your own bed pillow as they only give you a small pillow like on the airplanes. We also take snacks & drinks, things to read &/or do like a deck of cards, card games, etc. Don't forget some toiletries like toothbrush & toothpaste or any medicines that you take.

I don't think the employees can get to the cars either.

Those cars are really packed tightly onto the cars of the train, so I'd think it was impossible for anyone to re-enter those cars while the train is in transit.

we pack our minivan to the gills and it's never been disturbed. you watch them drive your car on and off again, and the staff cannot get to it.

Also take blankets, unless you're getting a sleeping car
