That is funny!
But on a more serious note.....I have been doing secret shopping for about 4-5 years. I am not allowed to say which companies and which stores I shop for as part of a confidentiality agreement, but can say I don't work for this one.
There are MANY scams out there with secret shopping...do not PAY to sign up with a company, and do not pay for an 'info kit'. A quick google search and you can find some good ones. PM me if you want.
I have not paid to see a movie in 2 years, as I do trailer checks and get to stay and watch the movies. I also get lots of meals for free. I have slowed down lately because I usually live 20 mins away from a shop, and they pay about $10-12, and i was spending more than half of that on gas! I stick with the easy ones and the fun ones. Some companies expect a LOT out of you for your $10, and it can amount to 2-4 hours of your time with the visit and the report. I stay away from these. I do the ones that make me about $10-15 per 30-60 mins.
