Hi, all! This year my office is doing a secret santa gift exchange from December 1st-18th. We are revealing ourselves at the company Christmas party on the 18th, and I do plan to make a "big" gift (I knit and will likely make a pair of slippers or a scarf.) I usually love secret santa, but an extra 17 days of gift giving is leaving me at a loss for ideas! I want to keep it at about $1-2 a day without looking cheap. I've found some cutesy sayings such as "May your days be merry and BRIGHT" with a mini flashlight from the dollar store. That's great, but I still can't seem to find 17 good ideas. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

All stolen from Pinterest:

Nail polish "For MistleToes"
Hersey kisses "Wish you a Merry Kiss-mas"
Jolly Ranchers "have a holly jolly Christmas"
Extra Gum "Have an Extra special Christmas"
Bottle water "melted snowman"
Green candy/tic tacs "Grinch Pills"

I have some bag toppers in my photobucket ,,, feel free to use
example here

Fill a baggie at the Bulk barn with candy treats
attach to a pre packaged mix of cupcakes

Twiz the Season - Twizzlers
Santa-tizer - small hand sanitizer wrapped up to look like a Santa suit
Bottle of Soda - Soda-lighted you're my co-worker!
Just Soap'n You have a Merry Christmas - Hand Soap

When we've done Secret Santa like that in the past, I usually hit up the Dollar Spot at Target for lots of little, fun stuff.

Here is a Mistle Toes Bag Topper I made.
I know I can get foot lotion and nail polish for a reasonable price.

Everyone can always use pens, post its, markers, small notebooks - tie with a festive ribbon - you are all set. depending on who you are buying for - a $1 lottery ticket is cute too.

Love the lottery ticket idea!

Other ideas include an ornament, a gourmet hot chocolate pack with snowman poop (marshmallows), snacks for their desk (a piece of fresh fruit and single serve almond or cashew pack), a homemade CD of Christmas music, an inexpensive Christmas movie from the cheap Walmart bins or small candle.

The Secret Santa gift I got the most positive feedback about was very inexpensive. I got a tube of small Christmas ornaments and used a paint pen to write Merry Christmas in a different language on each one.

Candied nuts: 1c of sugar, .5c of water, cinnimon
Mint Candies:with cream cheese or butter, powder sugar, and mint
Pepermint Bark: melt chocolate, add cruched candy canes
Melted Snowman, or the Anti Olaf :rotfl:, make hot chocolate mix and add marshmellows with a small candy cane

If Co-Worker has kiddos Raindeer Food: Oatmeal, glitter, baby carrots, whatever;)

I would keep it simple and mostly consumable. Some single serve Christmas themed candy type things, a pack of good hot chocolate, a bottle of Christmas scented hand soap, Christmas themed socks, Christmas themed nail polish or body wash. Maybe toss in a 5.00 starbucks gift card one day. Maybe danish one morning or a lottery ticket. You are gotten some REALLY cute ideas if you want to do a bit more, but just wanted to give a few ideas in case you do not want to do quite as much.
