God do I know how that feels, well sorta. My cousin's Girlfriend lives near me, and I found her sister really attractive, but she was a few years younger then me. Essentially she didnt want to get into anything and I pretty much let it go. Now it feels so awkward around her, its like she is someone I should avoid now. The problem is that I sorta still feel a little something, even though she has changed so much, almost to the point of unattraction. I hate being single, and self concious.

I hate it because everytime I talk to a girl, I feel like they are judging me on my looks, and its REALLY discouraging.
