Good evening everyone

The funeral is over and we are at home.

We leave tomorrow, so I will pack in the morning. We will be back Sept 9. So hopefully i will have time to recover before our WDW trip.

Stay safe and hopefully the boot will come off when I get back.

No, we are not heading to WDW,

we fly Monday to Amsterdam and Friday we get one a cruise and go to Germany, Russia, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Estonia. Then back home....

We will miss you guys... Hope you all have a great time

My foot is doing much better, or maybe everything else just keeps my mind off it...

But I have wrapped up week 2 of the 5 weeks. so almost half way...

Keep counting down! Glad the pain is better. Mine comes and goes (but feels like a lot of it is from the darn boot itself)

Thanks! I have another Ortho. appt this afternoon. Hoping he tells me that it is normal to still have swelling and bruising at this point.

So we are flying first class with Iceland air and they let us into the virgin atlantic lounge.

All of the food and drinks are complimentary.

Dessert has been served.

Hi, everyone, happy Monday! We had a great weekend, Rick was here to interview for a job (fingers crossed) on Friday, so we went up to Orlando Saturday and spent the day at Universal with T and Em for the morning, and then the guys joined us for the afternoon hours. We had a great time visiting and hitting the high points in the parks. Yesterday we did a little shopping for the last of the school stuff the kids needed (what is with the teachers waiting until half through the first week to tell us what they need?!?) and spent the rest of the day taking it easy at home, watching movies on tv and doing laundry, etc. Rick flies back to Iowa today but hopefully will be hearing good news soon and be moving here permanently.

Danielle, I know of course that some things might come up, but if every math and science teacher is going to require a 1 inch binder, for example, seems like they would know that before school starts, instead of waiting until school starts, then telling us they MUST have, which would be okay, but they want them to have the next day or 2 days later or they want to downgrade the kids grades for not having supplies. That's the part that makes me crazy. And then like the graphics arts teacher sent home a list that said colored pencils, which I sent, but then he verbally told the kids to bring colored sharpie markers, which I did not have, so we went and got those and flash drives, more binders...
