Monday = work
Tuesday = work
Wednesday = Dr. Appts (3)
Thursday = work
Friday = work and leaving early to go to the Newseum and see the Elvis Exhibit

Sunday = Clean house, do laundry, prep meals for the week.

and prepping for vacation..... only 11 days until I am in the Bahamas for 9 days....

Okay this week mine's about normal for us...(feel free to skim!)

Monday - work - open the pool, Krista's med doc appt, run her to school, Jeff's counseling appt (same place thank goodness) then fit in for his med doc appt. Run Jeff to school. Go to the office. Leave 3 hours later to get Krista from school, go to her counseling appt. Run her home. Back to the office. Run home to get kids for the Y work.

Tues - work @ Y, home, office, home, Y.
WEd. Get to sleep until 6:15 - Krista to the bus @ 6:40, Sleep until 8, Jeff out to school, work at the office, home to get kids ,Church.

Thurs. Y, home, office, home, Y. Kids are out of school, so got to take & pick them up from somewhere.
Fri - open the pool (yes 5:15 for that fun thing!~), home, office, Y. Kids out of school again, run them to friends house, they are going ice skating, and figure out how to get them home around working that evening.
Sat. - sleep until 8, get kids up get to the Y. Kids will go with Chip to his place. I work until 11 and then go pick up our new to us cats..shhhh! Kids don't know yet! Then relax do whatever comes up etc.
Sun. Church an then what ever needs to be ready for the week!

The big deal for this week is that a screw came out of my new glasses and the lens popped out...somewhere. Thankfully it is my better eye, but we have't found it yet. Got to get another one ordered, still hoping I can save the charge & find it, but places to look are getting real slim.

Have a great vacation & soak up some warm rays for us!

Lets all hope for warm weather and maybe, just maybe it will follow Danielle back up here!

And then we will all fuss cause it is the warmest spring/summer and why can't temps be normal fo rthat time of year!

Wow, Kat! I am tired just reading all of that. Hopefully you don't find the lens to your glasses the same way I did once...by stepping on it....oops!

Nothing exciting here this week....just hoping that the storm that is coming this way misses us...I have heard forecasts from 18-24 inches to all rain. My vote is all rain!

Oh well, then we are below freezing for this evening so it is possible that all of this could re-freeze this evening. only 10 more days for me....

He kids bus was late this morning, cause traffic was crawling, and they just called for an early dismissal today. At least they didn't burn a snow day, I guess.

I agree....everyone but weathermen (and women) would get fired if they did their jobs that poorly....seems like if they show up and make a guess, they are ok. Wish I could do that!

Who the heck wished for snow?!?!?! our 'rain' is now 5" of snow. And we have yet to see any rain.

AND...the 'big' part of the storm hasn't even gotten here yet.

well I am alive.....

We got 6 inches of snow and ice but the ice knocked out power to 400K people in my area.

Power went out last night around 8:45pm and returned about 3:00PM today.... No hot water, no heat, makes for unhappy Brandi!

But it is all getting better now....

First place I drop in to say HI is my to Limey friends.....

That IS a normal week for me. Just added in the extra time to get the kids around.... hopefully it will slow some, but who knows. It hasn't ever yet!!And no lens yet. Guess I'm gonna have to go purchase another one. Had my interview with one of the instructors of the nurses aide program at 9 am today. I had been sweating this, since I haven't job hunted or anything in a long while.

Suppose to take 30 minutes. I left in less than 15. Answered the questions she had right, chatted a bit and that was it. The class starts on 2/14, but I was one of the first ones she saw. Only 10 can make this class. Guess I'll know soon enough!

Since I got out early, I went to Social Security since they had sent me the form for the online application I did for death benefits. They said I had no minor kids and then the bottom gives you all the perjury warnings.

So I went in, praying for no line or a real short wait. I didn't even have to stop at the security guard!! He had a number printed out for me and then the lady called me right up. Got the paperwork question answered, said she didn't see where I had applied for survivor benifits for the kids. Let her know that the already had accounts under his disibility one. She found them, let me know what I am getting, (which shocked me to no end!!) and then said that it looked like they had paid the kids $100 -200 a month each less than they should have. She is going to send an alert to the payment branch, but it could take 30 - 45 business days to get them to respond.

OK, even $100 a month for nearly 3 years?! . That would be so sweet! Not saying that it will happen, but it would so help!

Kat, so glad the day went smoothly! And I'll keep my fingers crossed that SS gets those funds to you quickly! You know if they had overpaid they would want it back right away, so they SHOULD, but we all know how the government works.

Kat that is good news.. My back payment they said would take that long I had in less than a week. I hope its that fast for you!
