What is free dinning? Do you get the DDP for free? When do the dates come out for that?

Yes, the DDP is free. I think the current promo is thru Sept 24 ish. Definately do your reaearch though....many times a room only discount is better (although, I have no idea how/if free dining works when booking on DVC points.) If you go over to the resorts board, there is a section for discounts and promos. I'm sure you will find several threads on it there that can help more than I can!

Don't forget...you now have to pay tax and tip with 'free' dining..... room discounts are usually better if you stay anywhere besides the Values. We also don't eat as much when we don't have free dining....LOL.

I've found that I do eat more when using the DDP only because I won't pay to eat on plastic or out of cartons. Translation: I won't eat at a quick service if I have to pay for it. I will still eat at table service but not qs. I hate eating off of paper plates or with plastic utensils.

Has anyone driven to DTD? Is there plenty of parking? Where is the parking?

We always drive to DTD, it's quicker and a lot easier. It's a huge parking lot.

The worst part is that it rises, and then whenever I decide to go sit in it, it decides to hide from me.
