Secret Green Club - whatever number thread

I got lots of chatting to do... I think I need more :laundy: to accomplish that
:laundy: makes me chatty too. Of course sometimes it also makes me sleepy.:rolleyes1
You can come! I was going to let Heather come until she mentioned something about old age. :snooty:
Well, the only reason I know so much about old age is because I suffer from it too. :rotfl::hug: It IS better than the alternative, though....
Apparently we have decided December isn't long enough to keep the tree up. Funny thing is no one has mentioned it so it might just stay up quite a bit longer.

:lmao: Mine are un-decorated, but I need Brian's help to get the trees themselves down. Of course they are STILL up....I guess it will be less work to do mext Dec if I keep them up....

Let it be research, thats it....see how long it takes for someone to mention it, document it and then you need to gather more info and then you can do an analysis and the final report will take awhile and then it will be Christmas.

Got some good news over the weekend. Not sure if you all remember me talking about my friend that has the 7 y.o twin sons and one of them had liver problems? He was born w/ a liver disease. Last year he had a living donor transplant and it didn't take. Just before Christmas he had another transplant. Well this past week they were finally able to wean him off the ventilator. He still needs some help breathing, but is doing well. Next issue is learning how to walk again.

He is making history its my understanding no one has ever had a double liver transplant in the same year. He's such an awesome kid please keep Sam in your prayers!

Sending out prayers for the whole family!:grouphug:

Mary that is wonderful news. I was thinking of him the other day and forgot to ask you how he was doing..

Mary, so glad to hear about the good report!

Brandi, will continue praying for your aunt, as well!

Hi, all, I can't believe it, as Rick would I swear have a nervous breakdown if the tree was still up. I love it though!

Maybe we should set up a poll for all the Limey's.... How many still have a tree up!

/
Mine is still up.... it went up christmas eve...and I really didn't plan on putting it up at all...but my kids vetoed that idea. So the tree went up...and I decorated with their gifts

There are still flip flops on the tree :teeth:

Mary  that is good news :)

I hate glue...I hate paper.... I hate gluing paper. :lmao:

WHY did I think Alyssa's paper bead bracelet idea was a good one?!?!?!?!?

oh well...off to roll more beads.

1400 posts

I know, not as good as some others on here ... PD but I got to 1400 posts.....:happytv:

Yeah, Kelly is such a trouble maker with her fries, that's for sure! LOL

Brandi, to have 1400 is GREAT! I remember when I first joined the SGC board, and I couldn't imagine getting enough to learn the handshake, etc.

I am not sure I know the handshake, but to see some people for 55+K posts is amazing to me!

For me as well, Brandi. Though you are doing great! I seem to go in streaks of posting quite a bit, then hardly posting at all.

I found me PEEPs.

I was lost for a bit, but now am found..... :teeth:
Another Nsalz!!:goodvibes
sounds good to me, Mary. I've been researching birthday party ideas for Meagan. Ugh, what a crazy thing! There are a TON of party places, etc for little kids, but not a lot for 13!
Bowling parties, skating parties, the spa one, esp if the older girl can stay the nite & do it then!
Just an update on my Aunt Pat....

I am really worried about her and praying that she will regain her strength and have a full recovery.
Praying for you and yours. It mayhelp if she can find or freind others going through some of the same so they can talk. My friend, going through her 3 round of different cancers (in about 5 - 6 years I thini), said it helped to have others going through it that didn't have that tight, pinched look all the time & didn't want to act like it was happening to talk with.
POST 12,000!!!!!:hippie:

:lmao::lmao:

Kristi..... do you have Rockband or Just Dance ? We did Rockband for Alyssa a few years ago.... and Just Dance this past year for Amanda..... not much to set up..... food they can pick at works great.... and they occupy themselves with the games.
The rockband party lasted 5 hours (but actually went by FAST)
the Just Dance Party was only 2.5 hours...cause I figure it was more physical.

If you need other ideas....let me know what she is into...I'm sure I can think of something.

Kelly, I think these are great ideas, we don't currently have these games, we DO have dancing with the stars, epic mickey, etc though, and I don't even think I know what all we have for the xbox 360. Plus I could probably talk my mother into letting us either bring the kids' PS3 to our house or have the party at hers, they have Little Big Planet, some kind of singing game, Eyepet, etc for that. The bigger problem for her is that she wants to have at least 13 girls and wants them all to sleepover! I am thinking this will be awfully full if they all show up.

It's just pure laziness on our part. The dang thing is only about 4' tall. Honestly I keep forgetting about it and the tree is right on top of the TV. :sad2:

Mary, so glad to hear about the good report!

Thanks! I haven't heard if he is able to talk yet. I know when they took the ventilator out it had been atleast 45 days since he had last spoken. :sad1: He has a lot of fluid on him that they are trying to get off as well.
