Is the Secret Deck 7 Aft or Forward? I am looking at the CD with the ship layout and can not tell where it is...

TIA

Katy

Well, it turns out there really is a secret veranda, I have been on it before it is very relaxing. If you sit at the back of the ship at Topsiders outside you can see it if you look down, once you are on deck 7 you have to go all the way to the back to be able to get to it, when you are walking you will keep thinking is it really worth it????, but keep going I promise it is. :teeth: :flower: :smooth: :cutie: :wave2: :rolleyes1 :love2: :bitelip: :love1: :bride: :hourglass pirate:  :earseek:

Ah, the secret deck. We book our cabin deck 7 aft just to be close to it. It is very peaceful. I like to go early in the morning. There are posted hours.

Oh, and beware, you do have to walk through a door to get there. I missed the deck on my first search for it because I thought it would be right there. Just go back as far as you can, and there will be the door.

I've noticed that on our Magic December 28th Cruise, the "Secret" deck is not such a secret anymore. I was surprised how many people were out there...:-)

You are right! The 10 day Dec. 18th holiday cruise was the same thing. In fact the teens have found it and it is not so secret anymore!

Well, this became no longer a secret when it started getting posted on the world wide web! LOL!! :earsboy: :teeth:

It was a real let down on the final, at sea day, on 1/16 Wonder, to stroll out to the "secret" deck on 7 and find some trash and dirty dishes laying around on the deck and in that little "gutter" under the steel hull/white wall around the exterior of the deck. We were in 7132 so we were practically next to the not so secret deck.

So please, remind others you see to keep the deck clean, and if they do bring a meal out there, by all means enjoy but when you are done bring the tray inside to set out for hallway pcikup along with the room service trays.

Also, there are several times during the week when the Oceaneers Club kiddos are taken out there for story time (seemed to be mainly in the evening after dinner).

An even more secret "secret" is the aft area on deck 8. It is much, much smaller than the not so secret deck 7 aft verandah, but most people are totally clueless about it (until now, of course).
